All people are brothers

It's a made-up fairy tale...
Pharmacist friend of mine in SE TX says that her hospital is making her work much fewer hours with much decreased pay, because they cleaned out hospitals in preparation for covid patients, and now hospitals are semi-empty as flood of dying individuals did not materialize.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- Tens of thousands flocked to Orange County beaches that are still open during the coronavirus pandemic as the hot weather settled over the region.
Surfers and crowds of people were seen along the Huntington Beach coast as the region is experiencing a heat wave that is expected to last through the weekend. Officials urged individuals to continue practicing physical distancing when outside, but that didn't seem to be the case Friday afternoon. Many beach goers were seen with less than six feet between them and many weren't wearing face coverings.

All of these people defying social distancing orders are gonna change that. What people don't appear to understand is that the reason the infection rates are down is that we've been able to limit social interactions.
I stand by my statement; it's here, and it's scary as a mofo.
.
The beaches are now open in the Florida panhandle (from Pensacola to Panama City Beach).
but there's no constitutional right nor logical reason to impoverish 30-50 Million people over a bad flu-like illness/pandemic that has already touched a quarter of the population

We have financially flattened most hospitals. Most of hospitals outside of NYC have been almost empty the whole time and are running out of money.
Pulled the trigger yesterday. We're going to St. George Island, FL (hour or so east of PCB) for a week with 4 other families. We're all just done with this and not a single one of us personally knows a friend or family member that has even tested positive. We'll still do our social distancing duty and we plan to just stay at the house(s), but we're done. Well maybe a little golf. (This is all assuming FL removes the vacation rental ban)
.@GovPritzker your official duties have everything to do with your family if your telling every other family in the state to #StayHome . Your own family skipped town to go to Florida where they are reopening. This a spit in the face to illinois residents.pic.twitter.com/u2xxye5JFH— Kash Jackson (@KashJackson2018) April 29, 2020

check this shit out. Looks like your Governor sent his family to North Florida to enjoy the beach, while he's telling everybdy else's family to stay home.
I'm not even sure how all this bull shit is constitutional. Blocking my free movement around my own country when I dump 40 fucking thousand into your lap.
And I'd guess 100,000 will die prematurely because they didn't get their colonoscopy or mammogram or cholestorol/BP testing during COVD19 and avoided the hospital.

What makes Covid-19 more scary than the latest mutant strain of flu?
Can any of you that are afraid of Covid-19 tell us why it is more scary than the latest annual flu strain?
4.)Continue to work closely with academics and research partners “as we bridge, ultimately, toward the herd immunity and a vaccine within, we hope, the next year or so.”
