Says the prop pipe bomb in George Soros an Assignation attempt on his life. They don't say it was harmless prop, and incapable of even exploding as it had no explosives in them. He wasn't all there either.
Attempted assassination A pipe bomb was placed in the mailbox at Soros's Katonah, New York home on October 22, 2018, as part of the October 2018 United States mail bombing attempts. The package was discovered by a caretaker,[193] who removed it and notified authorities. It was photographed and exploded by the FBI, which launched an investigation.[194][195] For several days afterward, similar bombs were mailed to Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and other Democrats and liberals.[196]
On October 26, 2018, Cesar Sayoc was arrested in Aventura, Florida, on suspicion of mailing the bombs.[197] In August 2019, Sayoc was sentenced to 20 years in prison for mailing 16 pipe bombs to 13 victims. None of the devices had exploded.[198]
Never consult wikipedia for anything that might have a political slant to it. They have a group of leftist editors that manipulate these articles to the benefit of their owners.
Wikipedia is usually fine for tech articles, like if you want to know what the specs of AMD processors are, or what the properties of a gemstone might be. Anything else, forget it, as it's propagandized.

Agreed. Turtledove tried repeatedly to create an article about patrick.net, but the Wikipedia editors kept deleting it. Pretty sure it was for political reasons. The site was actually pretty famous for a while, more than some things which have articles.
