Mine was Bloomin' Brands, parent of Outback, Bonefish Grill, etc. Got it last week just under $9.

Prior to WuFlu it was in the low $20s.

Still undervalued - should be at $5 by EOY, PT $10+ in 2-3 years. Steady as she goes - record Q1 coming. Still good to take profits during swings as the algos sell-off indiscriminately with the indexes (Russell etc.) on strong market sell off days.

Norwegian Cruise Lines. Wow, look at this potential upside. Do I have the Balls? This one might take more than a year, maybe two years, to return to previous levels.

Ugh.... already have been taking a bath on it. Holding until it goes up or BK with money I can lose. I've cruised with them and they blow away Carnival with customer service and a bunch of other things. I just don't know if they're big enough to withstand this now. Royal is shitting ships, so I don't know their debt load. They're the best cruise line though of the 3 majors.

I don’t have much cash as I was fully invested, but I sent a few bux to T Rowe Price New horizons.

I’m going to look for more income soon, I want to buy more things.
9   MisdemeanorRebel   2020 Apr 27, 1:59pm

Wow, the S&P 500 P/E is still over 20. Gonna hang with individual stocks.
10   clambo   2020 Apr 27, 6:26pm

Whatever you do, forget what Buffet does.

He said he loved Wells Fargo stock and bought a lot of it.

I inherited some WFC shares and from inertia and sloth didn’t sell it. I also thought Buffet can’t be wrong.

Now I’m so far underwater I need a submersible to reach the surface.

Yeah, I've taken cruises on the Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Sun. They were a great value and good cruises such as to Belize and Bermuda. I loved going to the Mayan ruins in Belize and the fort in Bermuda.

Carnival has Holland America which I took also. Its a great value as well. So is Celebrity Cruise Line which is own by Royal Caribbean.

I bought Carnival at $8 a share and Royal Caribbean at $34. Holding onto them for at least 4 years unless they triple in price before then.

Yeah around 23 March 2020 when the market dropped 35% from its all time high, the P/E ratio based on trailing 12 months of earnings (ttm) was around 16. The historic average is around 15.5. However, because this bear market the Federal Reserve has had a lot greater role as well as with the federal government stimulus spending, the market did not drop any further past the 35% level.

Keep in mind the S&P 500's earnings for October 2019-March 2019 are still being tabulated. So most of the time, the P/E ratio (ttm) is based on estimated earnings for the last 6 months.

Good luck. Don't even know what I bought NCL at like 2-3 weeks ago. I jumped the gun. I bet I think $2k on 27 in a game of roulette at this point. I'm okay losing it. Lesson learned and/or maybe it will work out. The beauty of not caring is comforting in times like this. Just gonna hold at this point.

Buying cruise ship stock is not a good idea nowadays.

I was considering taking a cruise to placate a female, now I know I will never waste my money on one.

I have little experience with options of any kind and just bought 2 puts yesterday I am a real noob with options so any suggestions would be welcomed.......
17   Cash   2020 Apr 29, 9:33am

SYSCO Corporation (SYY) is another that might be a good 1 to buy a put on... Would love to hear from some of you hard core option traders....

This one tripled in value over the past year.

I've done great with $LPI (Laredo petroleum). My guess is oil is gonna roar back with Biden.

So far the gamble is paying off.
27   clambo   2021 May 6, 6:41am

I bought some GME and a Swiss stock ETF FLSW

I’m just waiting for WFC to hit $54 again, then I’m gonna dump it.

FRO looks like a good value to me, but then I can't figure out why it's so cheap to begin with.
30   KgK one   2021 May 6, 1:57pm

Is fro shipping container stock, they have huge beta. Turns into.pennies sometimes. Dividend appears great but price goes down a.lot

They do oil tankers:

Frontline Ltd., a shipping company, engages in the seaborne transportation of crude oil and oil products worldwide. It owns and operates oil and product tankers. As of December 31, 2020, the company operated a fleet of 68 vessels. It is also involved in the charter, purchase, and sale of vessels.

Pretty much, except F and GE, and even then only if you feel lucky.
