This is non-taxed dollars. Hey, I'm not a fan of income taxes, but the IRS lost out on $100MM in revenue, which the rest of us will be making up with increased taxes for ourselves. (Or increased inflation that devalues our own new worth. Or something.... but there is definitely no free lunch here.)

The purpose of the Gates Foundation is for Gates 1. To keep seeking attention 2. Seem altruistic after a lifetime of copycat robber baron rapacious business practices. 3. Spend what the government will eventually take away with the inheritance tax (death tax).

Over a few million bucks, you can’t leave it to your heirs, so why not spend it instead of letting uncle Sam have it?

Of course the media keeps giving the attention seeking guys what they want.

More than the poor math skills the educational system is responsible for, is the history and literature they are teaching that is really bad. By time a student graduates from high school, students will not have read a complete novel by time they graduate. The schools don't teach the Constitution and students are taught to hate America and believe the founders were all a bunch of misogynist racists who set up a system of government to sustain slavery and oppress the masses. They do this because socialist communist professors want to do away with our democratic republic and replace it with a system of govt. that is more oppressive.
