I'd do the reverse. Karen will stick around and will continue to shame long after if you don't put them in their place. Literally tell them to go home and shut the fuck up. Especially if outdoors. I'd even go so far as to load the up exercise bike, not regular bike, you want to be stationary and exercise 6' off a path or trail that's active. Maybe do a Crowder "Change my mind" type sign attached to the front of the bike.
Put cameras out and make sure to get good audio. These people need to see how ridiculous they look and need to be equally shamed and totally embarrassed. Hopefully virally and nationally, We need to make people think twice about getting involved in random people's business and lives.
