Recall the Dubya let Chinese MiGs get too close and cause an accident with a P-3C that ended up in a forced landing in Hainan, whereupon the Chinese delayed the return as they went over the Electronics with a fine tooth comb. Dubya did absolutely nothing in retaliation, a good George Will "Conservative" who simply kept asking nicely to return it soon.
