Looks like Florida sales tax receipts are down $598 million for April as compared to what would be expected without the pandemic.

They will get by on condo association fees.

This Month will also suck, but perhaps not so bad. Things will dramatically improve next month. I suspect a return to almost normal by September.

Our YOY Sales tax revenue is going to triple in the rebound.
Also if manufacturing jobs come back, we'll see a huge uptick in sales tax from the more abundant better paying jobs.

I have a job offer for the Tampa area. Seriously considering it, since they were so damn level headed during covid.

How much of Florida's tax receipts are tourism related?
I don't necessarily see that part bouncing back anytime soon. But maybe so if everyplace else is still closed!
