Friday May 29, 2020
The streets of San Jose erupted in violence in front of City Hall on Friday May 29, 2020. Protestors were throwing glass bottles at the police. One officer was injured. News reports from The Chronicle and local KTVU, station said the police fired rubber bullets at the crowd. When I heard that, I thought, I live in San Jose, why I don’t I get down there and take some pictures at around 9 PM, I hopped on my e-bike and headed downtown, hoping to avoid getting shot.
