It was false to say that no one has any pre-existing immunity to Wuhan Virus

https://spectator.us/immunity-coronavirus-widespread-thought/

Two weeks ago I wrote here about a study by the La Jolla Institute for Immunology in California, which found that between 40 and 60 percent of people who had never been exposed to SARS-CoV-2 — the virus which causes COVID-19 — nevertheless seemed to develop an immune response to the disease in their T Cells. They appeared to have a cross-reactive immunity which had been gained through exposure to other coronaviruses — those which cause the common cold.

Now comes another study providing more evidence of the same phenomenon from a team at the Emerging Infectious Diseases Program from Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore. Nine of 18 patients they studied showed an immune reaction in their T cells to a protein in SARS-CoV-2, in spite of never having been exposed to the virus.

The team also found that survivors of Sars — the novel coronavirus disease which had an outbreak in 2002/03 and then largely disappeared — possess a ‘robust’ cross-reactive immune response to SARS-CoV-2.

Everyone has had colds, and this thing is just a version of the virus that causes the common cold. So why did anything ever think no one would have immunity?

Good example of the "no-immunity" media falsehood being propagated right now:

https://www.wktv.com/content/news/570892632.html

By the end of March, 1 in 7 New York adults had Covid-19 -- about 10 times higher than the official account, according to a new study sponsored by the New York State Department of Health.

This adds to a growing body of evidence that the virus was much more prevalent early on in the outbreak than health officials thought at the time.

"Every public health person and infectious disease person in the country is going to line up and say yes, for sure, there's no doubt about that," said Dr. William Schaffner, a longtime adviser to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

He added, however, that there's another side to this report: It shows that even in New York, which had already suffered a sizable outbreak by the end of March, the vast majority of residents were uninfected and therefore still not immune to the virus.

Wrong!

Many people, perhaps half, are actually immune to the virus. But that doesn't sell newspapers.

It's would be amazing if someone in a position of authority, like Dr Anthony Fauci, knew anything about immunology.

Seriously, it's like the gatekeepers of NIH grants are like the MBA-ologists but in the biohazard world as oppose to IT, insurance, or banking.

And people who got it and recovered also seem to be 100% immune:

https://fossbytes.com/coronavirus-update-100-immune-reponse-found-in-recovered-cases/

Recently, two researchers measured the immune response in 20 Covid-19 patients and found some interesting results. They discovered that almost 100% of the patient’s immune system was activated and successfully made anti-bodies.

Moreover, the T-Cells, which provide core adaptive immunity, easily recognize the protein-peptide molecules of the Coronavirus in lab conditions. This indicates a healthy immunity in those who have successfully recovered from the Coronavirus.

The researchers, Dr. Biol. Sci. from the Center for Infectious Diseases and Vaccine research, along with Dr. Shane Crotty, from the Lo Jolla Institute for Immunology, published their findings in a new paper. ...

In their study, they found that in 100% of Covid-19 patients, the immune system fought back with antibodies and CD4 T-Cells.

A few biochemist friends of mine in Germany have been saying that for a while - their idea is that about a third of population is immune to corona because of cross-immunity from other coronaviruses.

Who da thunk? Like you have some cross immunity to the flu ironically as always touted by the CDC as a good reason to take the flu shot even if they don't get the strains right. Why should it be different for the coronavirus? This should go down as one of the biggest scandals in history. Fauxci should be fired.

Also this may explain some densely populated warmer countries such as Brazil having a high case load and death toll as they probably don't have too many cold viruses in their climate. Sars cov 2 definitely seems to cope at least somewhat better than the other CVs or maybe it's more infectious. So there's not much immunity in couhtries that usually don't have severe cold seasons.

Net result: we already have significant herd immunity. We did from the start.

And now we have all those people who got it and recovered.

what is the disease-induced herd immunity threshold for the COVID-19 coronavirus? Various epidemiologists offer different answers, depending upon their estimates for the disease's R0 and other variables, but most have converged on a threshold at around 60 to 70 percent.

We may already be there.

Racking up the falsehoods and blatant manipulations about Covid is pointless. They are endless.

It doesn't matter. The goal was to inflict a fear based pandemic religion to control the population to its own detriment and experiment with government overreach, and it worked. This all has nothing to do with epidemiology, health, or facts.

Now, in places like Santa Cruz, we have to put up with the shuddering libby OC disorder Sallies and enabled psychotic Karens for the duration while the cops chase people off the beaches, which is the healthiest place they could be.

Oh, we have also all of the utterly pointless ritualizing around masks and distancing. Keep the people afraid of each other, Orwellian State.

It's crazy add in the riots which clearly show covid 19 is fairly unimportant and now you have a mask duty when in reach of 30 ft and a curfew. A leftoids or for that matter any fascists wet dream. You can basically harass and arrest your constituents for anything.

Yes, all you have to do is say that people are exposing the country to danger by disobeying authority.

But after all it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or fascist dictorship, or a parliament or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peace makers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.

In his own evil way Goering was a genius. He defined political tactics used right here right now every day in our modern "democracies"and" republics".
