Google turned itself into a South Bay ®eal Estate company, gobbling up parcels all over the place for office warrens and walkable high rise living in downtown SJ for its hip cubicle warren workers. Just in time for the pandemic to change the paradigm to work remotely.

It's embarrassing when Google casts your porn thwapping video on to your children's tablets, your wife on the kitchen's TV, and most of your proximate neighbors in their homes and then posts you beating off on Skype to random computers.

Don't watch porn on a tablet, or through your smart TV, that's just asking for trouble.
The problem is having three kids with tablets, they watch OddBods and push the Cast button on the video.They are just clicking buttons, they don't know.
But it turns on every TV in the house when they do. Besides interrupting what ever program you were watching.

A smart TV is 1984's telescreen.
Anybody that owns one, is INCREDIBLY naive. It's like having an Alexa.
If you're desperate to cast to a tv, the chrome stick costs I think $35 and it doesn't have a camera or a microphone.
Better yet - throw your television away.

I discovered this as my tv in the room would randomly be on, when I knew it wasn't left on. Then a couple times when I was watching a youtube video. The Youtube Kids would launch and start playing some kid video. Turns out one of the youngsters in the house when they cast a video from their tablet, not trying they are just pushing buttons. All four smart tvs in the house turn on, and play the video.
This issue has been reported since 2018 with 100's of angry people posting it to Google.
Googles recommended resolution, make a new thread, they've heard enough cries in that thread.
