The whole Democrat institution is already doing a 180 back pedal, the blow back from these few days of their insanity and that pathetic pandering displayed today.
They've been swamped with calls from their own constituents that actually do the voting, saying "What the FUCK!?!?!?!"
They are all saying now, except for the Squad and the Box Shitter Maxine Waters, all saying they do not support defunding the Police.

The Optics the MSM and the Antifa agitators and the BLM Retards is projecting is a tiny minuscule of their voting bloc that is being totally blown out, and disgusted by everything this year.

The damage is already done, they should have kept their open Bolsheviki platform.

Yup.

I've seen CNN headlines like "Is 'Defund the Police' a massive political mistake?" and journalists asking their interviewees leading questions that warn them, like "btw, many are worried "defund the police" would result in mayhem, and that you would be giving Bad Orange Man a terrific reelection talking point. So...what do you think of defuned the police?"

They know it's a deadly mistake, and they're trying to reprogram their NPCs

Either the Womyn For Womyn Revolutionary Anarcho-Syndicalist Committee,

OR

A Pakistani Brigade on UN Peacekeeping Duty.

The solution for #1 is to hand out flannel shirts and Herbal Tea
The solution for #2 is to hand out a $20 bill or, 5 minutes with a goat.

Do they give H1B's for Somali warlords? I think Minneapolis politicians want to try them out.

I do not think the "Defund the police" will last past the rhetoric. After all, Police Unions are major donors to the Dems.

And they're very much part of the problem. I'm 1,000% on the side of cops. But there are shit heads (cops) that sometimes get away with criminal behavior. Unions protect these dumb asses.

The problem is the people rioting and BLM are almost exclusively the ones in favor of public sector unions. They need to get their own god damn house in order before burning the place down. They are their own worst enemy and I think some know it, but others are completely blind to it because they're so stupid.

Not so sure they are stupid, by rather disingenuous. The do not want to see this as a police issue, and thus call for the Precinct Captain, Chief of police, and Mayor to resign, since these folks are all Dems. Rather, ignore the fact that this was a rogue cop kept in the system by union rules, and claim the only issue is "systematic racism."

I’m hearing inane questions such as ‘But what if my house is being broken into by an armed attacker?!’ Well that’s simple. In a community-led system of law-keeping, you would call the number of your allocated Peace Officer and explain clearly, and without prejudice towards the defendant, what the current situation is. Be sure to alert them to any possible reasons the robber (or ‘wealth distributor’) may possess to have been forced into a life of crime. Perhaps they come from a broken home? Maybe their minority status has caused them to feel disillusioned and understandably upset by the systemic disparity of wealth brought on by white patriarchy? Is it possible that their lived experience has led to a life of substance abuse which has spiraled out of control? Remember to not make racially-stereotypical assumptions about this person, and instead see if you can open a dialogue in order for them to be able to state their case without fear of being judged. Once you have passed on this information to the Peace Officer, they will immediately put out an alert on social media for other citizens in your area to send their thoughts and prayers to you at this difficult time, while also taking care to offer support to the wealth distributor who has been conditioned into breaking into your property by the multi-layered inequalities inherent within Western society.

"Community policing" of violent areas would look like Detroit. Black city council, mayor, police chief, and so on. Hands-off policing. Ineffectual 911 response. Between 34 and 54 murders per 100K per year, for the last 15 years. Homicide clearance rates of 15% ( https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2018/08/10/u-s-homicide-clearance-rate-crisis/951681002/ )

Buildings lost to arson bulldozed, and the land put to pasture. Entire city blocks look like this:

We've tried their experiment. It failed. Just like every socialist experiment has failed (on five continents over 100 years, but no, it's "just not been done right"). Let's learn for once.

p.s. Please stop using Scandinavian countries as a counterpoint. They're capitalist democracies with social programs, not socialist countries. There's a world of difference. See Gary Kasparov, chess legend and former Eastern bloc resident on the difference:
