I was curious as to who ordered the Precinct to be abandoned in Seattle to be occupied by anarchists. It certainly was not the Police Chief. My limited research finds it was probably the city council.
The occupiers have already run out of food, because "all the homeless people came and ate all the free food."
Rule No. 1: The demand for free goods and services is infinite. (Jerry Pournelle)
The city council probably just thought, "Let the kids have their run, they'll get it out of their system in a few days." Then the adults will come in and clean up the mess. Pray that no one gets killed in the meantime. Crimes of all types, like rape and robberies, will spike. Extortion is already reported.

Does anyone rally believe the people fighting the occupiers were "white supremacists?"
Probably a rival gang... of black people. But yah white supremacists.
It actually does make a better story if they’re KKK or whatever. “Defund police! Abolish police!” Bang bang bang! “Ahh these white supremacists are killing us! Where are the police to save us?”
