Riot police stormed MTR trains at Prince Edward station and made many arrests on the evening of Aug. 31. Witnesses say the police assaulted passengers indiscriminately, chasing and beating them with batons on the platform and using pepper spray in train carriages. Several people were hit on the head and bleeding heavily.

We will have our own Tiananmen moments to remember soon enough. Please be patient.

Do you still believe the CCP goons didn't kill any Hong Kong protesters?

One person was killed and two others injured when a shooting erupted in Seattle’s autonomous zone early Saturday, and police are now investigating in the “no-cop” zone, according to a report.

Seattle police remain in the so-called Capitol Hill Organized Protest zone, according to Newsweek.

Videos recorded inside the autonomous zone showed volunteers scrambling to help the victims. Police confirmed the shooting to Newsweek Saturday but offered no additional details.

Seattle police abandoned the area on June 8 following confrontations with protestors after the shooting of George Floyd who died while in the custody of Minneapolis police.

But our 50c Army friends said nobody was ever killed by CCP...

We went from a 3.5% unemployment rate to an 18.5% unemployment rate in a couple of months. 30% of American households did not make last month's rent/mortgage payment. The PPP was a giveaway to the rich and well connected, and the $1200 checks given to the peasants didn't cover enough. The BLM protests were quaint with very little damage to people or properties.

We've all seen the footage of the people driving to get their food handouts from the charities and the numbers involved. There is no plan to rapidly get funds into the hands of people who need it for basic necessities. Remember these people are out of work through no fault of their own. If massive amounts of money are not given to people to cover their rent/mortgage we are looking at trying to economically displace about 100 million people. That bodes ill. The amount of social friction will be intense and the potential for atrocities is high.

Where is it that I stated that ?

So you agree that the CCP is brutally suppressing Hong Kong protesters. Good.

I thought I remembered you stating that no Hong Kong protesters have been killed. My mistake.

The CCP should be pointed out as the pariah that it is.

Will the American media stand up for Hong Kong before it’s too late?

Don’t count on it.

Trump should donate 20 million Gatling guns to HK protesters and billion rounds of belt fed ammo.

It's the only right thing to do.

Stingers for Uyghurs would be entertaining, too, especially accompanied by a billion tons of crystal meth.

"Why is HK/Taiwan/Ukraine our problem? Xi/Putin have legitimate reasons to roll over them and install the beatiful true freedom they have in the rest of China/Russia. It's not our fight, and until our Southern border is 100% secure we should not attempt walking and chewing gum at the same time"
18   Patrick   2022 Feb 22, 9:04am

I don't think Ukraine is our problem, but China definitely is because US executives sold out the US working class in favor of producing over there and selling here.

Now we are dependent on a dictatorial communist regime.

The more Ukraine gets attention, look to China.

I suspect many of the same people who want US troops deployed en masse to Ukraine, would be like "Ah, it's just Aksai Chin/Taiwan, no biggie. Everybody knew this was going to happen. Can't risk the economic issues."

It's pretty obvious that Pu and Xi are in cahoots and any illusions of "play Russia against China" or "play China against Russia" are just that, illusions. They are might be pulling a "fork" move on the hapless Biden admin: while Putin stirs shit in Europe - prepare to hit Taiwan and when attention shifts there cut off another piece of "salame" in Europe.
