A Quiet Revolution May Be Starting

#charlesbookerLet us talk about something uplifting. Part of my military career was US Navy intelligence. You learned to look past the obvious. The goal was to notice something subtle that everyone else misses. Please keep a close eye on what is happening as votes are counted in the Kentucky Democratic primary for US senate. My ancestors came from Kentucky. This state is not a liberal and left-leaning state. In many ways, it is very conservative. Amy McGrath, a retired US Marine Corps Lt. Colonel and fighter pilot, decided to run against Mitch McConnell. Amy is a great person and candidate. She got off to a great start and raised some $41 million dollars (all from small donors.) She looked like "a shoe in" to get the Democratic Party nomination. She had a good chance of defeating Mitch McConnell.
Then George Floyd died due to callous police brutality. An upstart black Kentucky state representative named Charles Booker entered the race against Amy. He raised all of $285,000. His eloquent and calm voice called for major changes. He shot up quickly in the polls. Even in this age of coronavirus, a massive voter turnout followed.
We will not know until Tuesday if he defeats Amy. If this upset happens, it will be a message that a quiet revolution has started in this country. What will follow is energized voters who will resist Donald Trump's efforts at voter suppression. They will come out despite coronavirus and vote in huge numbers to change this country. Many incumbents will be swept out of office. As of January, 2021, the US will be a far different country.

It's going to be Entertaining for Patriots.
The commies won't be getting ground up in the hurt locker by us. The commies will be dealt with by all of the unemployed Police that are joining the militias in droves. It will be like watching the running man on tv. Family entertainment with the kids.

Yo @Patrick

This post is yet further proof that there must be some sort of drug ring going on with PatNet. I wan't IN. I mean, if I snort a line (or three) of cocaine I could post some pretty delusional shit like this too!

So where's the secret dark web portal entrance from PatNet that can get me into this? I know it must be somewhere....

You are very wrong on this point. She got her money from rich donors and the Democrat establishment. She was never the choice of the people.
Booker is a populist candidate, has been running on populist issues, and also is black, so when this BLM shit started he wasted no time in capitalizing on that. He has gained notoriety not for his ability to get funds from the DNC and wealthy individuals, but for his ability to connect with the poor and working classes, especially progressives and people of color who are largely shut out of the DNC apparatus and policy making.

If this is a revolution, it’s one that Pelosi and Schumer are hardcore against. The black caucus was even put in the uncomfortable position of having to embrace white lady Amy and distance themselves from black guy Booker.

This is naked politics clashing with grass roots populism.

The loser party comprised of angry losers can’t really “change the country.”

The most that they can hope to accomplish is injure, not kill, the goose that laid the golden egg (USA economy).

They can’t succeed more than they are capable of doing, and they can’t beat the winners who are smarter and more disciplined. They can only be a pain in the ass to them.

The result will be taxes to give crumbs to the losers, which will annoy the winners but won’t stop them from having more of everything than the losers.

I really think it's time to limit any and all Welfare: HUD/Sec8, TANF, etc. to only:

* Widows with young children
* Disabled Persons
* Families employed but not making enough $ to reach the end of the month (this should also be offset by withholding tax dollars from areas where the min wage/affordable housing supply is too damn low, why should the Feds pay a state/city that is undersupplying housing, right SFBA?)

Nothing for unwed mothers, they must seek private charity,

Follow up: Despite my comment, which I'll do again, I sort of like ohomen's posts. They are definitely delusional, and this:

That would be a DNA test to be sure it is yours. No excuses that she "tricked" you into getting her pregnant.

Happened to me. Bitch was poking holes in condoms. Or digging sperm out, I dunno which. She admitted to it years later. Fucked my financial situation up big time in my 20s. Fortunately, she miscarried and I escaped!

Went on to have several (as in at least 7) different kids with different fathers. Hot as fuck New Orleans chick but yeah. I call her the Louisiana Fruit Fly. I still get stalked by that one. She's early 40s now and still smoking hot. Just like her mom. She was 20 then.

Only raised one of the kids herself. He wound up in jail/drugs/loser/failure.

are you saying that people are going to leave the comfort of their reclining chairs and their plate of hot pockets to actually stand in a line to vote (or sit in their mobility chairs)?
