Played the market in the past and did quite well - thank you.

Perma bear - no, realistic - yes.

Drinking the Kool-Aid - no and I never liked Kool-Aid, any flavor.

The only way this country is going into a severe recession is if the regressive Democrats win the election. Still a lot of MAGA economy at this point.

Zero chance - corp. earnings still too good. Stocks ay have high valuations but that's not the same as a recession.

corp. earnings and jobs are the economy. There are no widespread layoffs yet except for those mandated by leftoid regressive bs lockdowns, i.e. hospitality and related industries closures. Made up by hiring of big tech/delivery/wholesale/grocery giants. I'd prefer mom and pop stores and individual contributors as well, but you need to talk to the regressive left and talk them out of their TDS to bring those jobs back.

Aside from the Covid restrictions which are definitely dangerous to the economy and could cause a recession I'd like to know then what was wrong with the economy before Covid, and the lowest UE? What are the indicators for a severe recession? It's not hard to spot them - defaults and layoffs. The deficit only matters in terms of inflation but is net net neutral in this era anyways where ZIRP is not enough and many countries have been gunning for NIRP.

I still want a reply as to what the worst thing Trump has done as president.

Then I will compare that with what the Butcher of Libya did, who voted for the Authorization to Use Force in Iraq did - because that was the alternative.

I want to know if you have any reasonable thinking at all to whine and moan we didn't elect that murderous Neocon dirtbag to the presidency.

I want to know if you have any actual reasonable thinking at all.

I've given you a direct question, my prediction is you will not answer it. If this is the case, the next question would be why do you avoid answering that question?

Then repeat it.

The worst things that were done by Clinton are:

1) Who convinced Obama to blow up Libya and left it in civil war with operating slavery markets
2) Who voted for the war over weapons of mass destruction that didn't exist
3) Who wanted to setup a no fly zone in Syria even though she was warned this could lead to war with Russia
4) Who created a fake dossier that had the corporate press lying about Russian Collusion for 3 years
5) Who apparently was running a fake charity and was taking bribes through it

Now, tell me the worst thing that Trump has done. You can make a link as well, just as I did.

I think you are dishonest, basically a liar, and I'm calling you out on your dishonesty. I'm going to spend some time proving it. Show me your supposed reply.

The next question is what is your motivation for actively lying? That is the most interesting part. I've dealt with Hasbera for years.

Hannity? No

Your cult doesn’t care. You have no appreciation of just how lucky we have been so far to not engage in massive nuclear exchange and or accident, but out of the headlines there have been some horrible events that Trump, in his massive oblivious quest for braggart victories while ignoring all expert knowledge has brought nuclear disaster closer to us all than EVER before him.

Objectively true.

I posted it months ago and it was amazing how fast the post disappeared just like it is amazing how persistent that “politically incorrect day” post has stayed up at the top.

I see nothing but a set links from corporate news

Again, precisely, what has Trump done that is worse than what Clinton, the Neocon:

1) Who convinced Obama to blow up Libya and left it in civil war with operating slavery markets
2) Who voted for the war over weapons of mass destruction that didn't exist
3) Who wanted to setup a no fly zone in Syria even though she was warned this could lead to war with Russia

What has actually happened in his presidency? Hillary Clinton did that shit. Why am I supposed to be unhappy with Trump? What is the worst thing he's done? He's not re-introduced slavery to a nation but Clinton did. What is the worst thing he's actually done? Called Jim Yong Un Rocket Man?

I honestly don't see anything terrible with his presidency - far less than what the ex-secretary of state has done. Show me the worst thing he's done, no links from "corporate news experts" - you tell me exactly what he's done that is so terrible.

Of course, so never ask me another question again.

Just gloss over the assaults on the planet by Trump that you know damn well he did, again already costing massive loss of life around the planet and deny it just like you deny Trump’s personal responsibility for loss of lives in America from his extraordinary ignorance of the virus and his self-concern.

These acts by Trump are monsterous and supremely inept as a leader. But he has a tightly coordinated propaganda ministry that makes you dismiss any mainstream news and embrace every little conspiracy theory that makes him look good by blaming someone and making up nasty names for them. Makes you feel extra smart too because you know all the secrets about what really happened. Fucking A how juvenile and irresponsible he has been.

3) Who wanted to setup a no fly zone in Syria even though she was warned this could lead to war with Russia

I keep asking you that. What has Trump done that was worse than that? That was the alternative. I'd have voted for Caligula's horse over that dog shit. I want to know why you berate people for not voting for that dog shit.

Trump was an unknown - but at worst he was dog shit. How could it be any worse?

Jazz_music thinks that anybody that preferred Trump over:

1) a Neocon warmonger that voted for the Authorization to Use Force in Iraq (what is now called the 2nd Iraq war),
2) and was the driving force in bombing Libya that left it in civil war with operating slavery markets,
3) and wanted to expand the war in Syria

is part of a "cult"

I have repeatedly asked him to explain how that monster could be, in any way, superior to any other person that could be running for the presidency. If there was absolutely nothing known at all about Trump when he was running in 2016, he would still have been a preferable candidate compared to Clinton to me.

Multiple times I've asked @jazz_music to explain his position on why Trump, in comparison to the literally worse motherfucker ever to run for the presidency, is worse and I cannot get a response. I assume I cannot get a response because jazz_music doesn't actually believe what he is saying.

Imho, this all comes back to the core issue in political debate: most people make up their minds, and then look for facts to support their decision, not the other way around.

The facts are clear: Trump did not start any wars, and has been perhaps the best president for the economy ever.

But there is a lot of subtext on both sides, generally too embarrassing to be spoken.

The right is pissed off that liberals have gotten away with so much for so long.

The left is pissed off that all of their usual misrepresent-and-shame tactic failed to swing the presidential election.

Of course there is much more to it, but maybe that's a good first approximation.
