Kanye will siphon off some Trump votes

Any independent will hurt Dems more at this point. But it's not clear if he is really running and can get everything filed etc. But yeah a few will be taken from Trump as well. However pretty much all Dems who are disgusted by the politbureau process of a pre-chosen candidate now have an alternative to the bad! orange! man! devil! And they will chose it.

Big Chunk of the Youth Vote just left Biden. Lots of angry Bernie Bros and Dumb Kids that would've voted Biden will vote for Kanye instead.

I'm guessing Kanye will need to establish his legitimacy. I'm sure dem pundits will quickly warn their NPCs that Kanye could be a subversive actor meant to siphon Biden votes away, and that he shouldn't be trusted.

Kanye may attack Trump in an effort to prove his legitimacy. I'm guessing he will ease into this, and only as he gains confidence in his ability to siphon Biden votes, will he attack Trump harder. He wouldn't want to do any significant lasting damage on Trump, if his siphoning didn't work. But he would be strategic to steal 1% of votes from Trump, if it allows him to also steal 2+% of votes from Biden.


Keep in mind he can drop out of the race at any time. So, if he feels he's hurting Trump more than he's helping him, he can just drop. I'm sure they can run their campaign in a way so that in the event of a drop, more votes are returned to Trump than to Biden, which gives Trump the advantage.

The eureka is Trump. This is Trump. There's a lot of other Trump that people I don't think realize. This will go down either good or bad. I'm still voting that way because Biden can't lead himself let alone a country. Trump has definitely figured out how to manipulate people. Let's put it that way. As usual, better of two evils. Getting a touch concerned about Trump's dark side is all. All of this reeks like shit either way as an independent.
