For the money teachers make and all the perks it should be required the chicks suck off all the boy students - at least it will keep them calm when they're at home!
Admin staff coats can be saved more than the teaching staff.
Teachers don't like it, but they are by design professional babysitters
I wonder what OC is doing? I thought they were going to be "in person"
but the younger girl needs in person schooling.
I agree that suburban moms are going to be lost to the Democrats with this. It’s an unbelievable bind they’re putting us in, those of us with younger kids and two working parents are especially screwed.
got to believe lots of soccer moms will be voting Trump
How do you feel about president trump making that decision for you?
Dad, do you want to send the third grader back to a classroom? How do you feel about president trump making that decision for you?
What about you, Socal? Do you want your kids to return to the classroom in the coming weeks? How do you feel about president trump making that decision for you? Is that what your soccer mom thinks?

I am not happy that Newsome is.

Dude, every morning you wake up in California, it's because you made a choice to do so.
Because nobody put a gun to your head and demanded that you live in California.
Oh and I am fine with Trump wanting in person school. I WISH he could mandate that but I don’t think he has the power.Does he have the authority to cut funding to schools that do not open?

This is just a "union thing" with zero concern for children and zero concern for dual income families
Dude, others with views on this have shared that they are parents of schoolagers.
But, for someone with such strong views, you did not.
And you expect others to take your views seriously on this topic?

Dude, we pay taxes for a service that is supposed to be provided. I'm not sure where you're going in this thread. You just said you don't have kids in the school system.
Does one really have to have kids to be pissed off that thuggish teachers unions are abusing our tax dollars and holding kids hostage over their political demands like defunding the police and Medicare for all?
What are you saying? Put up with fascism, or leave the state?

It's a personal decision that will be informed by the personal values of parents of what they think is best for their kids.

Personal decision of what though? My decision is to send my kids to school as normal. That's not what is happening. My kids are going to do 5 days a week, half days. I had zero decision in that. There were no elections between March and now for my school board so that's not a cop out for the dip shits that say run for the board given the timing of this virus. There was no personal decision I was allowed to make. None.
You are right that this should be a personal decision. If the teacher is scared, let the district know that you're quitting and they'll hire someone else. If you don't want your kids in school, don't send them and home school or do remote learning if the school offers it. If I want my kids in school for a full normal day, that I'm...
withhold state taxes
If online "was" successful
mell sayswithhold state taxes
Please keep us informed on how that goes if you go in Tax Strike.
BTW, I was asking to gauge opinion what parents think. Not to insinuate one way or the other. Because, one of the few rational things I heard on MSM this week, was that parents' attitudes on their kids going back to school is an under-appreciated issue for the impact on the upcoming election.
As most parents will be most passionate about what's best for their kids, that sounded logical to me.
Then you guys read too much into it.

I will be the most happy camper around with this option for my kids. That will saves us lot of time to be more productive to learn things than only to go with the slowest in the class. This will also help to hire the best teachers for the state or nation and get rid of "district", "neighborhood school" concept as part of the optimizing the communities. People get freedom to move wherever they want instead still get the best education.
I'd imagine Banks and RE co will go against if that is going to happen.

The way Dems are going, they'll take the stupid bait and announce in state after state, they're closing schools or going part time only.
Suburban mom vote will be lost - not just married and employed, but also single and employed. Can't possibly swing childcare costs.
