We decommissioned 200,000 sq ft of DC space this year to turn into a
marijuana grow. Very similar power and cooling requirements.

What's clever about it, weed grows outside in the sun.

BTW I think Pot grown outdoors gives a more organic natural high than indoor fleeting hightest crap.

"Organic" pot or nothing!

My use of Organic there, was meant as "Natural high feeling it gives you" not the growing method.

I have a buddy that has a plant growing on his lot since March. A couple of buds matured and he cured it and invited me over a smoke out with him.
I haven't experienced that kind of pot buzz in over 20 years. When most all pot was either grown in Mexico or California wilderness and smuggled in.
There's something off with grow lab pot, sure it's pretty but it doesn't have that natural snunky smell or flavor, and the high no matter how potent it is, is very fleeting.
Gets you stoned for 15 or 20 minutes, and then it's gone. Natural grown pot will linger for hours and buzz creeps up on you. You start out high and keep getting higher for 20 to 30 minutes later before you Plateau and gradually come down over a period of time. Lab pot does not do that.

Outdoor pot is much more vulnerable to insects and harsh weather, and only one crop a year can be harvested for quality smoking material.

Indoor, can control the light cycle and not vulnerable to roving insects. However with no checks and balances, pests like spider mites can spread and destroy ones entire crop.

I think "outdoor weed stonier" is a matter of selection bias and subjective experience. Compared to the ditchweed of the 80s that every dime bag seller pushed as "Thai" or later "Cess" (sic), indoor grown pot is night and day better.

I was NOT an early adopter of vaping but now that the technology has matured and mistakes like adding vitamin E acetate have been hammered out of the process, it's the better way to go. With vape oils exceeding 80% THC, one can get stoned AF but build up a hell of a tolerance quickly, all without the harsh effects on the lungs, or the smell and mess of pipes and bongs around the house.
