When we were serious about the presidency, we wanted intelligence, thoughtfulness, knowledge, empathy and, to be sure, likability. It should also go without saying, dignity.

All those things went out the window when the fake-news-media went full-on "Gotcha!" mode. It wasn't Trump whose first sentence in the debate was to accuse women of being fat pigs.

It's dawning on the Media that no matter how hard they spin, they won't be able to distract from Biden's mental fog at the debates. So now they don't want a debate - or to replace Biden.

The key for the Democrats and fake-news-media will be to claim Trump was the one who cancelled the debates.

He'll be forced to. Else Trump will have the debates with the Green Party candidate with an extra empty podium for Biden there...with a nice little sign on top that says, "Vice President No Show" for the camera zoom shots to show when the moderators ask Biden a question.

Even if it only airs on Fox, the damage to Biden and the Democrats would be tremendous.

Trump should do the debate with a puppet that looks like Biden, they can get a puppet master lookalike of China's president.
