Well, the guy who told me this rumor of Trump's family stockpiling it cannot come up with any evidence for that, only that the US government was starting to buy a lot of it.
So the Democrats seem to be deprived for a conspiracy theory that they can really use.
And still, people are dying while the science shows the shit works IF given with azithromycin and zinc, early.
Democrats, please stop killing people. Just chill and find a way to look at the science impartially.

I heard the same from a friend - somehow Trump is in it "to make money". Well if it's so worthless as the leftoids say what are they complaining about then, let every family buy up stockpiles, maybe we should distribute it by political orientation. All the leftoid/Dems would not get HCQ, so the shortage problem is solved quickly by reducing the demand by roughy 50%.

OK, Democrats should be banned from using HCQ for Wuhan virus disease. Everyone else gets to use it.
Problem solved, and many Democrats will get to die from not taking it, which seems to be what they prefer in this case.

Since HCQ is about as cheap and plentiful as aspirin, there would have to be a centralized restriction on HCQ for touting it to be at all profitable.
Lo and behold, the FDA (head appointed by Trump) has restricted supplies of HCQ and is being sued by the Association of American Physicians & Surgeons to release that supply because they know it works well:

Whether or not Trump did this and why are irrelevant to me. If this gets Democrats to stop murdering tens of thousands of people by disparaging HCQ, it will be worth it.
Remember three points:
1. HCQ has to be given early, before pneumonia sets in
2. HCQ has to be given with azithromycin, another cheap drug
3. HCQ has to be given with zinc, which is so cheap that we literally make our pennies out of it
