And most people don't know anyone who died of either.

Well, I did know of someone's brother who did.

But yeah, aside from Freddie Mercury's infamous passing, no one else.

And there are people in government in San Francisco who want to open "bathhouses" again to "spur the economy." As if AIDS wasn't enough, they want to spread COVID throughout the Gay community as well? I don't judge other folks' lifestyles, but if you want anonymous sex, perhaps now is not the time??

We need to go on full sex lockdown until vaccine for AIDS is available!

At least for the teacher's unions.

# of WuFlu deaths is suspect due to completely unrelated deaths being attributed to Covid.

Just like the number of cases is a gamed figure:

Definition of "cases" changes from symptomatic/hospitalized into simply "tested positive".
Single cases being reported twice (or more) if the same individual was tested more than once.
Entire test sets being submitted were found to be 100% positive and then retracted for retesting when people called it out.

Just assume that everything the mainstream media tells you about this is an outright lie.

AIDS has been around 40 years; SARS-CoV-2 not even a year.

Viruses have been around forever. We are overdue for a real killer; the kind where large numbers of people start bleeding out through the eyes ears and nose before they even isolate the pathogen.

This masquerade has little to do with viruses, corona or otherwise.

AIDS is mostly homos and prostitution. Not gonna know many. It’s not exclusive, but mostly that.

I knew few people with Covid, did recover.

Never stopped the left from crying about "eeeeevil Reagan denying them the vaccine".

ok, so I just had dinner with a friend in NJ. His brother, age 50, caught it 2 weeks ago, presumably he caught it at the Pharmacy, where he works. No way to know though. He thought it was allergies and it lasted for 2 days. He got tested, and didn't even bother checking because he felt 100% better after day 2. The only reason he knows he had it is because the testing place called to notify him because he didn't check the results online.

"About 7 times more people died of AIDS than of Wuhan virus"

How are we supposed to treat that headline?
• AIDS has been around for 40 years; who knows how deadly WuFlu will be if it also sticks around for decades. I'm not sure how to compare one to the other.
• Ebola hasn't killed nearly as many people (because of extreme precautions). Are you saying we shouldn't worry about the next Ebola outbreak until it's spread around the globe and killed a few million? (No. Of course not. Presumably, by then, we'd see several billion people die and the economy really tank.)
• I don't know anyone who died of AIDS or WuFlu. I don't know anyone who has died of gunshot wounds. I don't know any slaves. Are all these "issues" just hoaxes?

AIDS was essentially a death sentence. Wuhan Flu, for 50% of the population doesn't even give you a cough. For the next 30%, it gives you the sniffles.

@SunnyvaleCA

I'm saying that Wuhan virus disease is not particularly important or dangerous.

It's unimportant, and not dangerous to most healthy people.

And very easily and effectively treated with low doses of hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and azithromycin if you catch it early.
13   SunnyvaleCA   2020 Aug 11, 10:18pm

^^^ ah. OK. From the headline it sounded like you were saying WuFlu, even after just a few months, was already 1/7th as deadly as AIDS — that sounds very serious indeed.

Imagine how bad AIDS would be if they had not found treatments. They still have no vaccine.

Bill Gates has like 7 vaccines for Covid-19! He's gonna mass produce the one that works, as soon as he figures out which one that is. Remember the DOS patches? It's going to be like that.
15   theoakman   2020 Aug 12, 7:05am

It's also now easily treated with Remdesivir and corticosteroids after hospitalization.

If we are actually being truthful about numbers, AIDS killed 15 million if Africa alone. This is a disease that killed millions of young people. Wuhan Flu's average fatality is around age 75.

Everyone I know who has tested positive for Covid19 has had mild symptoms and recovered easily. Granted, this might be much more dangerous to someone over 80, but that’s older than life expectancy anyway so protecting people of that age shouldn’t mean we need to cripple everyone else down to kids with stupid lockdown and masking policies.
Covid is a wussy virus. It only takes out the very old and the very sick/feeble. Natures way of making us all healthier as a population.

it were not 100% avoidable, especially since donor blood has been tested for the virus since early in the epidemic and is no longer accepted from high risk groups.

Consider the age of the typical politician. And that is why they are taking extraordinary action for a cold. It would not be as big a deal if it only took out the young and healthy.
