Future global finance is all about Blockchain and imho a ground floor opportunity/speculative investment.
There is such a thing as staking "lending pools" where you can earn 2-3% and even up to 10% APR
parking your money depending on the ERC-20 Token you stake.

This is an example of what can and did happen concerning a ERC-20 Token https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/yearn-finance
YFI $34.53 7/18/20 to $38,148 8/31/20 and has been as high as $42,961 9/12/20. A person doesn't have to stake
their tokens while they wait for development and gains however when building your stacks you might as well earn
some interest you never loose control of your own token coins. I have my favs I am stacking up but will let you do your own
DYOR and share your own thoughts on the diff. tokens if you will.

Gives a nice simple explanation of DeFi he is a big supporter of XRP as the ultimate cross boarder cryptocurrency and makes
some great arguments in support.

You are correct. But sovereigns will never let people have a uncontroled currency, NEVER. You can trade it, you can make some money off of it, but in the end they will make you a criminal once it becomes too popular.

It's all blowjobs and backrubs until your wallet gets deleted.

Lol, absolutely!

The whole point of blockchain crypto currencies is to prevent the ability of anyone from deleting or confiscating what you own.

Your own bank accounts don't give you that in the least. When the government wants your money, they can just take it.

Earning 6.3% APR on a bit of idle cash ;) The rate varies but is posted accurate rates on their website as it changes. https://www.dharma.io/
Funding through the bank is very slow takes 2 weeks so there are work a rounds to make it happen some what quicker such as funding Kraken or
coinbase and then buying DIA for instance and then transferring the coins to Dharma.

In the beginning I felt the same but have found it's well worth the effort to learn, most want gains for zero efforts if it ain't incredibly easy or handed to them
it's to much to be concerned with...

I prefer stocks and stock mutual funds.

I know that no matter who is in the White House in January, the Apple Store will do great business selling more stuff.

In due time, I get a nice dividend.

“Lather, rinse, repeat.”

Exactly. Time is money as well. I've already spent over 20hrs minimum and probably closer to 40hrs looking into crypto. There's a reason it's confusing. It's to get you to part with your money because of FOMO.

Most "invested" say screw it and throw their money at it because a few fringe blogs and sites tell them it's a good idea. I've found most have zero understanding and they say you know nothing when you question them. They learn what a hard drive is, a password and a spreadsheet is and it's the future and they'll get rich. It's cute. I just hope they don't lose their asses like the people I've known. It's not funny and I'm not trolling them.

I know the returns on my current investments aren't guaranteed, but I at least understand what I'm investing in. That has value versus the unknown. When you have a business partner that has bit the dust messing around in crypto and you warned him against it, you learn a lot.

pretty cool. thanks for sharing. The Cardano I bought is yielding about 4-5% staking rewards. Got to look into Nexo.

DeFi Protocol Ankr Exploited for Over $5M. The attacker was able to mint 6 quadrillion aBNBc tokens, which they eventually turned into around 5 million USDC.
