I'm pretty sure I see a lot less BLM graffiti and signs up lately, and I think it's due to the fact of BLM violence being impossible to miss now.

I wrote our local bookstore, Kepler's in Menlo Park, and nicely pointed out that their huge BLM sign is actually supporting a very violent group.

I also wrote the Congregational church in Palo Alto and pointed out that their BLM sign is hardly Christian, given how violent BLM is.

We all should speak up when we see a BLM sign, nicely saying we're sure they mean well, but BLM is not a group worth supporting, because its members riot, loot, beat people, and extort "donations" from businesses, not to mention harassing restaurant patrons and surrounding people demanding that they put up the "black power" fist whether they want to or not.

Yeah, BLM's approval went from around 20% to around 8-9% as of the other day.

None of my black friends even like the group.

Why would they? It's a white group angry about Hillary's loss, nothing to do with black people.

Burn
Loot
Murder

What’s to like?

And given Louisville last night and other places, who can disagree with the words of that acronym?

More on my pleasant surprise on South Florida not being a Wokester paradise.

Some scumbag painted "WOKE" on the over pass near my house, it was there for less than a week. The first time I saw it, I was planing on buying a can of black spray paint and returning and painting "TARD" at the end. But a few days later when I drove by, the DOT had already painted it back to the color of concrete the over pass is.

I really expected Florida to go against Trump in 2016, I expected South Florida to be the East Coast CHAZ zone, and I expected it to be an epicenter of violent riots and protests.
We have experienced none of that.

And inadvertently they are creating more Trump voters through each riot, sorry intense mostly peaceful protesting.

TPTB have determined the BLM Ploy isn't working correctly. It'll be rebranded for a new attack vector.
They've already removed their main statement web pages.

The fuck? How is it even 8-9? Maybe I've aged out of that demo at this point, but I don't know a single person that posts anything on social media or mentions BLM and supporting it. Between my wife and I that's like 1k people (including social, not direct communication). It legit has to just be college students at this point. My wife's youngest sister is I think 27, so we're friends with some of her friends. No one even cares about BLM in my world, so I don't outside their bullshit violence.

A lot of yuppies who are in their 30's support them, especially if they live in conservative states which have not been hit by mostly peaceful riots.
Send them back to Portland and california, we don't need them in TX...

EVERYTHING about anything that is Hate Trump from the Left is all about not accepting the results of the 2016 election.
Even the controversy about Trump not accepting the results on November 3 comes from this, it's called projection.

Ouch. That's concerning for Texas. I'm 37 with dozens of close friends around that age. I can count on one hand the liberal ones and they're not the riot or BLM type. They're decent people that have empathy towards some issues I don't agree with, which is fine. Most of us were spoiled, white and probably considered yuppies with parents that had decent money. We're mostly conservative, but that's likely because most our parents were/are business owners.

I fear Texas might be in trouble if that's what you're witnessing. On a positive note, and it won't happen this year, I do think IL may be shifting. This shutdown crap and violence against cops in Chicago I think has shifted a lot of peoples thinking. IL could become a swing state in the next decade possibly if the left keeps this up.

I can't believe how close Beto was to defeating Cruz... Now that's a bad omen for Texas.

Beta is better looking and Cruz kinda resembles Count Chocula. Oh and we let women vote. That pretty much explains it.

I'm not in the game of judging the looks of other men, but Beta was rather unattractive in my opinion. The name is also extremely not masculine, so he'd lose some normal female votes there. I don't know, maybe Texas is going purple? Maybe that was the plan of the Dems all along. Brainwash them in CA and then they flee and spread the disease elsewhere. Maybe that's the virus we should be worried about? I don't encounter it here in IL because it's already here. We're trying to send them to Wisconsin and Indiana now.

And that’s why he lost. If he was better looking, say like a Gavin Newsome, he would have won against a MUCH less handsome Count Chocula.
Human nature is hard to fight.

Also, Beto the Beta spent a yuuge amount of $$$ - I recall he outspent Cruz by quite a lot, courtesy of D's trying to flip the seat. Cruz is quite unlikeable, as you note.

Don't know, Hispanics are more open to voting R (Cruz flipped a county which is 80% Hispanic), but influx of idiot millenials from CA, IL, and other failed states has made cities more left-wing (Beto flipped 3 or 4 suburban counties).

Edit: looked more into this - it seems that S. TX which is mostly Hispanic is really moving away from D's - they shift to R's - see this - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._M._Lozano - he first won election as a Democrat in 2010. He switched to the Republican Party in 2012. However, cities are flooded with millenials from other states which vote D. The dynamics of voting is changing in a quite unusual way.

You know, one advantage of the fires in CA is that BLM stopped setting off fireworks every night. They did that for months after the drug addict violent felon Floyd died of an OD in police custody.
