I used to think this but I changed my mind. Certain types of drugs could be legalized, but there’s always going to need to be some controlled substances.

Some things are just too addictive and too damaging. Then you get hooked and can no longer function. Then I have to deal with all the crime that results.

should be my choice what I put in my body after age of 18. And crime can be dealt with by giving away FREE! drugs.
Unfortunately, drug war does not work and we know it - has been a disaster for 50 yrs and is an embodiment of insanity as if doing same thing over and expecting a different result.
