I know we have similar threads kind of. I want this to be screen shots (not links) that show how dishonest the media is.

Here's an example of the stuff I'm thinking of. On quick read, CNN clearly is trying to get you to believe the death count is 1M people in the US and not in the world. I know there are other archive sites for this type of thing, but it would be fun to see some other examples.

I love it. Kentucky gun show used as fake footage from Syria.

The MSM is provably bullshit.

This our media. Google news this morning, top of page. Zero nuance and all negativity. But hey, it's Trump doing that.

9   WookieMan   2020 Oct 5, 4:35am

Scanned too quickly. CNN actually had a positive headline that included Trump's name. Wow. The rest is pure crap though.

Is is actually #9 in deaths per capita btw.

And that's because we have so many obese people and black people, both groups tend to die from Wuhan virus.

Famous One

Found this gem, just after the Media switched from "It's just another flu, don't be racist-xenophobe by wearing masks or shutting down travel" to "PANIC and ALL TRUMPS FAULT"

But that's racist, they say.

POC are more likely to be obese due to food insecurity and other factors. And systemic racism, including reduced access to doctors and education, affects POC more. A system where whites do well, but others don't do as well, is a white supremacist system.

Ultimately, higher deaths among them is due to our racist system.

I've seen the above narratives a few times now.

There is something else that progressives (and perhaps @Patrick) forgets: here in SE Texas most of corona-infected persons are Hispanic. Reason is simple: they are disproportionately over-represented in construction, factories, and supermarkets which are not shut down. At the same time, both female and male white librul Karens are over-represented in education, banks, etc, which are working remotely. So basically we have a shutdown for rich white people while POC (+ redneck oil workers) have to serve them while getting sick with corona. I wonder why this angle has not been explored by media.

Plus they have to homeschool their kids while serving rich white people because the teachers don’t want to risk themselves even a little bit.

Honestly, the only thing keeping Latinos on the plantation is inertia and the lingering feeling that Trump is racist against them.

While this isn't totally untrue, hispanics tend to be much more family oriented and gather 90% more than black families and probably 20% more than whites. My main neighborhoods in Chicago were Pilsen and Little Village. Did some work in others like Hermosa and Gage Park. They're spreading Corona through family gatherings in generally tight enclosed spaces.

My guess on blacks dying more is just general health. A family member was in the RO business for dialysis, and it's ridiculously skewed towards the black demo. Like 80% in cities. Look up dialysis centers in a city you know and then check the demographics nearby. It's just bad health that's causing them to die after Landoniquanda was out shooting people and came home to g-ma because mom and dad are dead.

also true - one Hispanic friend's of ours extended family all got corona because they of course gather all together every Sunday. No one died and I think all 6 or 7 cases were relatively light, and the only one who went to doctor was grandmother. The rest even did not get tested, just stayed at home.

No thread like this would be complete without "Fiery but mostly peaceful protests"...

Yes - it was very very funny.

If that isn't a greenscreen, I'll eat my shoe. You can particularly tell at around 0:07 - you can see it on the rails. That's because the the original video was recorded in interlace - probably NTSC or PAL. No video today is recorded interlace, it's progressive scan. They reversed the fields, which is why you get that ripple effect

I don't think the reversed image did much to demonstrate it though.

I can't imagine anyone would dispute it wasn't a green screen. I don't even care about the technical aspect of the video and being able to tell if it's green screen. The wake in the water and movement of the boat is 100% fake. It wasn't remotely natural movement on water. For the bow of the boat to move like that you'd have to be in open seas with 10' waves and not what looks be a bay.

From a different context, but totally applicable to reporting about Trump:

How can readers discern the truth between the lines? Listed here are common methods employed by the media - intentionally or not - to influence public opinion. By being aware of these methods, we can avoid becoming a pawn in the media war against Israel.

Misleading definitions and terminology.

By using terminology and definitions in a way that implies accepted fact, the media injects bias under the guise of objectivity.

Unbalanced reporting.

Media reports frequently skew the picture by presenting only one side of the story.

Opinions disguised as news.

An objective reporter should not use adjectives or adverbs, unless they are part of a quotation. In addition, the source for any facts and opinions should be clear from the report

Lack of context.

By failing to provide proper context and full background information, journalists can dramatically distort the true picture.

Selective omission.

By choosing to report certain events over others, the media controls access to information and manipulates public sentiment.

Using true facts to draw false conclusions.

Reporters frequently use facts to draw erroneous conclusions.

Distortion of facts.

In today's competitive media world, reporters frequently do not have the time, inclination or resources to verify information properly before submitting a story for publication. Quite often they take a shortcut or even unscrupulously generate newsworthy reports

It's utter leftoid TDS lunacy. There's now a Trump Covid-19 watch live newsfeed. So we're watching now public figures when they have a cold? This obsession is worse than the average American womyn's obsession with the Real Housewives. Or to put it in simpler, cruder terms, the lamestream media has become a cheap whore.

Actually, they're a rather expensive whore. Somebody has to be pumping major money into their deficits to keep the fake news going. That's how afraid they are of Trump.

https://freebeacon.com/media/undecided-voters-at-nbc-town-hall-previously-told-network-they-were-voting-biden/

It is not the first time that television networks have featured Trump opponents masquerading as undecided voters, who are difficult to find and often less publicly vocal about their political views. ABC News last month described several Trump critics as undecided voters, including one who had previously described Trump as a "f—ing moron," "pathetic," "pig," "swine," and a "punk ass" on social media. ...

NBC News did not respond to a request for comment.

Others at the town hall have displayed a clear preference for Biden on social media. Michelle Cruz Marrero, described as a former Republican, did not appear to be undecided: Several of her Facebook "cover photos" are either pro-Biden or anti-Trump.

Undecided my ass.
