"The Satanic Verses" as a way to get people to snap out of their trust of the MSM

In "The Satanic Verses" by Salman Rusdie, Mohammed's scribe is writing down Mohammed's words, which are supposedly direct from God to Mohammed.

The scribe, having a slight doubt, decides to deliberately make an error when reading back a chapter that Mohammed just dictated. He figures he can apologize if Mohammed catches him, but if not, that shows that Mohammed is not directly hearing and remembering God's words. So he puts in "Jew" for "Christian" at some point.

And Mohammed does not catch the deliberate change.

So the scribe loses his faith in Mohammed. And this story is one reason that the Ayatollah Khomeini demanded that Salman Rushdie be murdered by whatever Muslim could get to him first.

Today at work someone mis-quoted Trump as saying "It's just going to go away in April, with the heat."

What Trump actually said was "A lot of people say that goes away in April, with the heat." And you can find the video to prove it.

So I just posted the correct quote online, no commentary. My hope is that this has the same effect as it did on Mohammed's scribe.

As soon as the majority of people come to the conclusion for themselves that the press is lying, making up quotes then we can get back to a more civil society, where most people no longer think the flagrantly biased press is God just because it supports their hate hate hate for Trump.

Some have indeed lost their faith in the press exactly because they saw that the press has been deliberately lying, like the gay guy who was outraged about "Trump mocking a handicapped reporter" until he saw video proving that Trump has long mocked everyone like that, with the same spastic motions. He is now a major Trump supporter on Twitter.

And yet, the Shittes believe that Mohammed's father-in-law, Abu Bakr, was not some true Caliphate.

Seriously, if the prophet's best friends are frauds than what does that make him?
