"I threw up in the middle of the night a few weeks ago, from stress. We're all feeling it."

"Not occasional full panic attacks, but mostly everpresent underlying anxiety. I occasionally just have to stop trying to find all the answers wrapped up in a bow and just live. That helps until I forget and fall back into the pattern."

" It's now to the point where I wake up in the middle of each night with terror that Trump might win re-election. It probably isn't rational, but the consequences are so horrific if the polls are wrong that I can't help but be anxious. "

"I have flashbacks to 2016. And 2000 for that matter. I can't handle it."

"I expect the nervous shits to kick in Sunday or Monday. Stress is a powerful laxative."

"The anxiety over the prospect of another four years of trump is really fraying my nerves. I know it is terrible for me but I resumed smoking about a month ago and I know I will not try to quit until AFTER this election."

"My panic in '16 took the form of vasovagal response: overwhelming fatigue. I will ingest a gentle cocktail of edible marijuana, a toke or 2, and some alcohol around 7 pm PST on election night, and wait for my husband to let me know results. Knowing full well it likely won't be entirely over. "

"I am laying in a supply of Xanax to make it through the next five days."

I try to tell myself it'll be ok if Biden wins (because there is a non-zero chance.) I don't think it will be good for the country. The Dems will try to tear down just about every bit of Trump's accomplishments as fast as possible. I'll certainly move almost all my securities into cash if this happens. Probably won't be fast enough - maybe I should do this BEFORE the election and look for bargains afterward? If Trump wins, there will likely be solid growth and I'll miss a few days. I just want to avoid a meltdown, which is what I think may happen if Biden Wins.

Your thoughts on risk management?

"Everyone has said basically what I would say. We are all going through this. My husband's neck gets so sore from tension that sometimes he can't even move around. My shoulders feel like they spend all their time around my ears now.

I don't get stoned but I do enjoy vodka and it actually does help (in proper moderation of course). I also took up counted cross stitch when this whole thing started back in spring. I get totally engrossed in it, I'm so busy counting and stitching and double-checking my placement, that it is 3 hours later when I look at the clock."

Michael Moore absolutely flipping the fuck out over his fear/prediction that Trump will win again.

Now, if only one huge cliff we could spook them and chase them over.
