Actually schools in California can open. The problem is most of the teachers in the metro area schools are female and are Karens who are wildly irrationally afraid of Covid and refuse to go back to work.

Ergo the unions representing them are against schools re opening and ergo the assholes sitting on the school boards are also opposed to their schools opening.

In other words, a bunch of female democrats ruin things for other people...lots of them.

This is happening with the unions here in IL. Not out by me, but closer to and in Chicago. Though they're supposedly planning to start opening things back up for full day. After the election of course. No one is enforcing the dine in restrictions either here in IL, even though fat fuck Pritzker basically shut the entire state down again like back in April.

I'm voting Trump, but I'm hoping in 2024 we can get better candidates. This whole deal has been nauseating. Glad it should be over by 11pm ET today. My concern is that this is the "new normal" for election cycles, which scares the living fuck out of me.
