The Sexual Assault Crime Unit is disbanded due to defund the police budget cuts.

They can file a sexual harassment complaint with the City's diversity manager against the rapist.

The shitheads in LA really don’t have a fucking clue what they actually voted for.

I’m sure some Mexican mafia dick in them will make an apt demonstration.

women in our district many voted Republican, but I don't think it mattered. Democrats own the fucking ballot boxes here. We do have at least 3 vocal crazy bitches though who run around with BLM signs. Funny enough, those women are white.

It's only a misdemeanor in CA to carry concealed handgun registered to your name.

My wife had a friend who moved to Orange County and I know a retired doctor who moved to Coto de Caza. They were into the shallow country club and flash consumerist lifestyle, and have 'Oscar Night' parties every year with floodlights. They also (had) movie theaters with lounge seating and restaurants. I think a lot of that shit is history with Covid.

i told my wife I wouldn't move anywhere more crowded than Santa Cruz ( the whole coast from Santa Barbara to San Diego with the exception of off limits Pendleton) and i certainly wouldn't move anyplace that was between LA and Mexico. The imperial viziers of California are already doing their best, along with natural disasters and fires, to make living in California a strange version of banana republic hell. I sure don't want to be packed ass to elbow with third worlders between a desert, endless concrete ghettos, and the ocean.

The movie stars who gentrified Venice are moving out because it has become so much of a shithole. I saw a vid of Venice Beach at night and it looked like a hard core ghetto scene with the fat hookers, dealers, gang bangers et alia and the 'new normal' of homeless tents everywhere. There is all manner of anonymous crime in LA that I am sure is not counted or acknowledged.

i knew it was being sacrificed to liberal values years ago when stopovers at the main LA Airport terminals were filled with ghetto beggars and spare changers who would hit on you every couple of minutes. It was awful, like rat-a-tat low level mugging. It was sanctioned, and nobody was doing anything about it. That was even before the rampant homeless. I had one of my first head scratchers about 'What the fuck happened to this place?'.

A unit like that is for the purpose of investigation, not prevention. IF, and it's highly unlikely, someone is able to call 911 before they are assaulted, it's going to the squad car on duty, not that unit.

If you need police to avoid getting raped, I'd wager you need common sense, and basic defense lessons(including firearms), much more.

Strange. We discussed this years ago that LA would be ground zero for cannibal anarchy. The Soros Initiative is making it so.

So getting rapists off the street doesn’t reduce the chances of being raped?
Interesting.
14   Ceffer   2020 Nov 13, 12:31pm

They already have warehouses full of rape kits that have never been tested. Given that 30 percent or fewer of rapes are even reported, it is a much more common crime than 'stats of convenience' indicate. Most rapists ARE free and never get prosecuted.

In LA, i would imagine the stats don't reflect any particular reality in LA except as justification for public service union self serving efforts, or to keep jobs and precincts open in target locations.

Part of the publicity stunt aspect of detective shows is to convince the public that genius, dedicated police officers toil relentlessly to solve crimes. In reality, your chances of getting away with rape or murder are pretty good, as long as the person is not identifiable as being in your immediate social or familial sphere.

You need a special unit to arrest rapists? Rape isn't a crime a regular detective will investigate? Need some more pork in the police budget..?

Let's get real though. I don't rely on a special unit to protect my family, I rely on my S&W MP, and my family relies on common sense, a taser, and of course the S&W. And if the unthinkable ever happens, The rapist will never live to see trial. But my aim is prevention.

If law enforcement were all we needed, we've had that, for as long as the countries existed. But the enforcement used to be at the personal responsibility level. Nowdays everyone cries for BB to protect them.. While getting raped...

It's not that easy. They have specially trained detectives to deal with the victims etc. Sure if all you see is incompetence then it isn't important to you and you'd rather save money. But think about it, if someone in your close family needs a surgeon specialist but all there is are general practitioners. Budget cuts you know. It really depends on the performance of the unit or person, you can't just cut and replace with a generic position.
