I would just as soon have my burgers and fast food wrapped in wax paper, than the fast food cartons they use today.
Also burgers and sandwiches wrapped in paper, all of the ingredients meld together better. A sandwich merely placed in a container that you don't touch again until you eat it over 15 minutes later. The bun is like a stale slab merely setting on your sandwich.
Those paper cartons use up 20 times more paper than wax paper uses.
I can't stand to get food from a restaurant that comes in a Styrofoam dinner plates. Even the clam shell ones with the compartments.
When I'm at work and a sequestered lunch comes up, I tell them I'm going out to eat lunch. I'm not one for plastic utensils or cold ass delivered food.
I don't mind Chinese because it comes in containers, and you take it home and serve it how ever you want.
Anyone remember the McDLT? That was peak fast food waste. It split the burger into a DOUBLE styrofoam clamshell that supposedly kept the hot and cold ingredients at better temperatures, meaning TWICE as much styrofoam used one time then thrown away.

If humans voluntarily kept their numbers down, mankind could AFFORD to be somewhat careless and wasteful with resources like the good ol' days. As long as human population keeps growing, EVERYONE will get less goods, space, and quality of life. Earth is a finite resource, and sharing it with others is ultimately a zero-sum game.
+1,000. If we want a 1st World lifestyle, we must have a stable population. Biden's policy of throwing open the borders with incentives for further illegal immigration is insane. Assholes get their thrill of virtual signaling phony compassion, but at the cost of leaving our grandkids to sink into a 3rd world society.
Biden's policy of throwing open the borders
2nd world status
HeadSet saysBiden's policy of throwing open the borders
Open borders is a different issue- also problematic, but moving people around isn't equivalent to making MORE of them.
You mean third world actually; this is a linguistic anachronism of the cold war era meaning "everything not aligned with the West or the Soviets" and considering these two factions tied for first world. /nitpick
Ah, but opening the border to a flood of refugees from 3rd World breeder nations is exactly the issue. The 1st World has a natural declining birth rate

Styrofoam burns down to nothing. Waxed Paper keeps hot things cold and is a bear to recycle.
Oil from out of the ground: mades a shitload of styrofoam.
Trees chopped down and ground up: makes cardboard.
I’m amazed that people think it’s “greener” to chop down trees to make containers.
The wax paper does two things, it activates the sandwich when you press all of the ingredients together and roll it up. It's why a burger that has been sitting in a paper wrap for a few hours. Will still have some life to it, the bread won't be stale, and taste as good as a cold sandwich can. Where as a burger that has been siting in a styrofoam container will steam at first, then dry out as it cools down. That's how you end up with hard dry stale buns, and dried meat and sandwich with no juice. Noting you do will ever meld those juices together and activate that sandwich.
Left: Hot for 15-20 minutes, even if 20F outside
Right: Cold when you get it, and certainly by the time you open it 3-5 minutes later
Paper coffee cups - untouchable with those stupidass cardboard rings, then cold 5 minutes after
Styrofoam coffee cups - Hot and delicious 20 minutes later, even if you leave it on the hood of your car in 20F.
Remember the Greentard "solutions" are the same as their claims about Vegan Burgers - "Just as good as a real burger"
