I am sure the military is delighted that they might have a Biden Presidency that would simply hand over military deployments, codes and secrets to the CCP on demand, especially if there might be a war pending. Sheep to slaughter?

After all, Dianne Feinstein had that Chinese spy on her staff for twenty years, and she was on military appropriations, and not a peep from FBI et alia.

Of course, Pearl Harbor day reminds us that all of that blood spilt by Americans has been simply wasted if this coup succeeds.

Wake me up when the military starts actually being faithful to their oath of enlistment.

They swore to fight all enemies foreign and domestic. Well, the domestic enemies are in Silicon Valley, Langley Virginia, and Washington DC. I'd thank them for their service, if they finally did a fucking service to the country instead of fighting on behalf of a bunch of corporations and psychopaths in high places. Blowing up Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia and Iraq isn't a goddamned service to me.

"I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

Bullshit. Bull fucking shit. Every single person that took that oath will never enforce it. Just a bunch of government employees. Glorified welfare recipients. If I'm wrong, prove it.

You missed the main ones. Our supposed "free press". AP, Reuters, NY Times, Fox News, ABC News, MSNBC, PBS, NPR Washington Times, Amazon, Google, Facebook..

Our supposed "free press"

This really is the biggest problem. Generally we can vote people out of office in most cases. There's literally no consequence for the media to flat out lie. Nothing. Sure they might lose some revenue, but when you have billionaires backing them, does revenue even matter? Quality of employees (not journalist, those don't exist) isn't even a thought. They're puppets.

AOC is just noise, she's a distraction. She says crazy shit, the media talks about the nonsense for a few weeks, in the meantime god knows what is actually being done in the government. Ignore her.

I never thought I’d see the level of censorship we have today. It’s extreme, freedom of speech And press is meaningless, it’s not there.

The problem will be fixed. I'm already seeing new groups and programs that just bypass censorship completely. End to end encryption with point to point is very usable today. It was 20 years ago, but since we did have relatively free speech then, the only reason somebody would be using it would be "for nefarious purposes" - and it was largely true. Kazaa was a movie pirate P2P program, Morpheus for music. Nobody used them to communicate political thoughts or ideas, why bother? Just post that crap on Usenet (which no longer exists), or a mail group.

Well you can't do that anymore, so P2P is going to ENTIRELY replace youtube, radio, television, phones, even email. Did you know email gets blocked by yahoo and google?

I don't know if it will be fixed. All platforms that censor are almost everything that matters. Few places that do not, they are nobody, and if they get big.... someone will likely find a way to buy them or squash them. I don't like where it's been heading. Our freedoms mattered now, and when they mattered they've been taken away. They'll maybe go back to being available when they don't matter, possibly, and be taken away again when they are needed. It feels more like privileges at dispensation of the left, than freedoms.

I don't like this at all man, not at all.
19   WookieMan   2020 Dec 9, 1:12pm

Add Bitcoin and Crypto. It makes people dumb as fuck. Like actually retarded to the point they don't know how to respond and answer questions. Idiots always get parted with their money, but it's becoming pretty bad. At some point they need help like an elderly old virgin woman that needs to be bathed and have her ass wiped for her while she lives in dead mom's basement at the age of 70.

I would love to totally ban YouTube from patrick.net, but are you all up for that? Or I could just make YouTube links open in a new window instead of embedding them on a patrick.net page. This would also help protect your privacy from Google.

No matter how many Antifa burnt shit to the ground on Twitter, Visa/MC/whatever will never stop it. One person does one bad thing with a Gab account, and they blame the whole site. Think about how many Facebook users commit crimes on a daily basis; it will never be blamed for the user's activity. Any non-Powerful Entity site like Rumble or Gab or Parler will.

Who cares? It just cuts down on the credibility of our "news". The more blatantly they lie, the less credibility they have. Well, let me tell you something, they have ALWAYS lied, but now, FINALLY people are becoming aware of it. Shit, you have no idea how long this has been going on - it's been at least 20 years. Could be a lot longer, it depends on when you finally started trusting your lying eyes over your lying "news" media.

It was maddening to try to get people to see, "yes, this news article is just a blatant lie, see - here's the proof" - and just get dismissed. "Oh, the journalist made a mistake", the "source you have is bullshit" - and this is when 1 time out of 100 you could actually get the person to look into it. We just didn't lose our 1st amendment in the last 4 years, it's been gone for a long time, it just didn't matter when you were the tinfoiled hat maniac writing nonsense.

I'd say 1/2 the country is awake, and it's WONDERFUL they are. Feeling ungrounded? Having a difficult time dealing with your mind reeling about what else you believe that isn't true? Shocked and numb that the nation has outright propaganda? Well, I went through that in 1995. People don't go back to sleep once they wake up.

I just use regular Brave browser on my phone to view YouTube, and it blocks all the ads without any add ons or anything sort. I'm costing YouTube money and it's completely free and ad free to me.

It's definitely Brave. Most adons have some insidious backdoor. The goal is to track what you're doing, NOT to sell you products. I only use adons at work, because, frankly, I don't give a shit about privacy at my job, because my company doesn't give a shit about their privacy. ALL their data is on 3rd party services.

Ten House Republicans joined Democrats to impeach President Trump on charges of "incitement of an insurrection," making him the first president in U.S. history to be impeached twice.

The final vote was 232 to 197.

With 10 Republican votes, Trump's second impeachment was the most bipartisan one in history. By comparison, five Democrats voted to impeach Bill Clinton in 1998.

Here are the 10 Republicans:

Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming

Rep. Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio

Rep. Jamie Herrera-Beutler of Washington

Rep. John Katko of New York

Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois

Rep. Peter Meijer of Michigan

Rep. Dan Newhouse of Washington

Rep. Tom Rice of South Carolina

Rep. Fred Upton of Michigan

Rep. David Valadao of California

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/01/four-gop-lawmakers-not-vote-impeachment-along-10-turncoats-voted-impeach-trump/

Rep. Kay Granger (R-Texas)
Rep. Andy Harris (R-Maryland)
Rep. Greg Murphy (R-NC)
Rep. Daniel Webster (R-FL)

It looks like even if Pence had objected the Republicans would have voted for Biden.
