That is, can we use civil disobedience in a Gandhi-like way to prevent their control and demand instead that political control of America be given to Americans broadly?

I'm thinking of things like disrupting the communication between oligarchs and the politicians they own and denying the oligarchs goods and services as was done to Captain Boycott in Ireland.
