Why should I have to stop my life because I MIGHT give someone the cold?

Because it is very selfish of you to spread around the deadly pandemic and be responsible for killing 1000's of people including ohomen
If you want to live in a society where everyone is responsible for everyone else, you will live in communism. It is a fact.

I didn't know that commies gave a fuck about their neighbors...I always thought they would fight them to death for that last loaf of stale bread.
Communism is collectivismAnd always causes famines for which we're supposed to send relief.

We have a crisis getting people rapidly vaccinated. I found a fascinating story from 1947 that happened in New York City. One courageous health department chief stopped a pandemic and got 6 million people vaccinated rapidly. Here is the story:

This man's heroic efforts led to a situation where 12 people got smallpox and were hospitalized. There were only two deaths.
To make a long story short, when it came to vaccinations, it was "all hands on deck." Anyone qualified to give an injection was brought in to help. The situation we have now with Covid-19 is more complicated. We have to maintain social distancing between people waiting to get vaccinated. We also have to observe people after they get an injection to make sure that they are not affected adversely by the injection.
