Anyone ever hear about burning a few bay leaves to relieve stress?

I saw it in one of those "Do this and a surprising thing happens" Youtube video.
I tried it, and it works for me. It works great. If you get worked up and feel stress, try taking a few bay leaves, and lighting them with a lighter, and let it burn in an ashtray or any inflammable dish. Within seconds, the stress just vanishes.

Funny how Snopes thinks they have to be the deciding voice on everything. A whore monger and a whore trying to tell the world what is true and what is not.

Snopes says it's unproven. I guess those commie fucksticks, don't have it together enough to have actually tried themselves to give an opinion.

Instead they are going by a study performed on Mice. Two things, how did they ask the mice how they felt?
And do those commie eggheads believe that Humans and Mice biology match 100% in every way.

If it doesn't work on mice, then it must not be true. Or is it not true, because the Mice wouldn't tell them how they feel?

Whatever one’s reservations are about the methodology employed here, it is important to note that lavender capsules are not bay leaf vapors, even though both likely contain linalool. Lavender oil contains between 25 to 38 percent linalool, whereas the oil derived from bay leaves contain around 4 to 6 percent linalool, and ingestion versus inhalation involve different processes in the body. It is also important to distinguish between the overall effect of smelling a pleasant aroma such as bay leaf smoke or lavender vapors, which can have a general effect on mood, from the specific biochemical mechanism by which substances may affect mood.

Could it be the linalool concentration has less to do with it, than the combination of the other compounds that make a bay leaf?

Lavender does nothing for me, and never has. I actually hate the way it smells.

Like good pot, obviously there's more going on than the THC content. I find some pot not as potent as the sticky buds, or even honey or brittle, can have a better, and longer lasting enjoyable buzz, than the high potency stuff. Which I don't really care for, a sudden buzz and rush followed by a sharp crash. Is not enjoyable in my opinion. I actually miss the Jamaican Brown commercial weed from the 80's and 90's.
