Didn't want to believe, but this thread pretty much proves it. Thanks to the OP AND the folks who were properly, not left-secularist fanatic, skeptical in the real sense of the term.

Algorithmic Justice League (racist, anti-science) --- Thinks Voice Recognition Software is Sexist, Racist, and uses "Submissive Female Voices"
European Digital Rights (EDRi) (Feminist, anti-white, but against hate speech law. Maybe not so bad.)
UCLA Center for Critical Internet Inquiry (feminist, anti-white, anti-science) - Leadership is Militant Trannies, apparently
Gesellschaft fuer Freiheitsrechte (Feminist. Gets the government to do things for immigrants or to stop investigating immigrants.)
Restore The Fourth (Supports BLM narrative of racist police violence and George Floyd story.)
Tech Freedom (Defends Facebook's anti-competitive practices Internet giants. Mistakenly implies Trump banned Muslims to travel. )

Here is the leadership of the UCLA one:

None of them looks like a member of their birth sex. Ugliness aside, they have masculine features.

All of these organizations are similar.

How many Trans feminists does the CCP sponsor in China? Not a one. In the West, tons.

Watching Pompeo's speech where he talked about why VOA was handing out J1 Visas to Chinese Nationals when there were countless Mandarin speakers, native or former mil translators, spooked me. And using Chicom numbers and comparing them favorably to US numbers, as if the Chicom numbers were real. The rot is so fucking deep even a minor agency like VOA is obviously Chicom influenced.

SIGNAL

It’s been about two weeks since we announced an initiative to distribute versatile face coverings to help support everyone who is self-organizing for change in the streets. Since then, we’ve shipped over $25,000 worth of face coverings to organizers throughout the United States. Over $6,000 worth of merchandise was sent to Washington D.C. last week in time for the Juneteenth events in the heart of the city.

A not entirely coy way of backing violent, destructive BLM protests.

Scary to realize the majority of Americans have not only no say in government, but not represented in media or NGOs.

I told Y'all they were in lock step with Google.

Never ONCE!! Ever! Did I ever feel like I was getting non-curated content from Google, on Duck Duck Go.

Thanks @FuckCCP89 you just made a convert! swisscows.com is now my default.

Yandex is no doubt better than most from our point of view, but I'm sure they spin things their own way.

As a technical search engine, it's more than the equivalent of google. This isn't because yandex is so incredible, but because google has gone to suck. The people running the search algorithms aren't competent anymore.

Swisscows is great! Better than duckduckgo.

So what browser do people use?

I switched to brave based on Patrick's suggestion. I like it, seems like a lighter version of chrome.

Brave worked great!! duckduckgo for default browser, swisscows as home. Moved over all my bookmarks, I can't tell the difference. Feels great.

Now what do I use instead of gmail? Like something with an app that tells me when I have email.

Protonmail or GMX.com. The latter has a calendar.

Running a Mint applet that puts my calendar appointments on the Desktop.
