I read a good article about the rise of Qanon yesterday. The theme is that you cannot change any minds through direct clear argument. It is always perceived as a personal attack and results in a hardening of position instead.

I don't know. I would conjecture that they don't want to encourage those people who are against proven vaccines. I don't want to go down the pharma or the antivaxxer rabbit holes.

All and all, I'm 100% suspicious of the mRNA ones from Moderna and Pfizer, however, the adenovirus one from Johnson & Johnson, sounds more promising.

Here's the thing, the body has seen countless adenovirus variants in life and thus, one with a corona spike (glycoprotein) on its surface may not cause the autoimmune cascade which could easily occur when the mRNA of one's healthy cells start to form the corona spike and the body thinks that entire sections of tissue have gone rogue.

If an employer forced a friend or family member to take the shot then they should at least fight for the option to take J&J one over the others.
