Start by shopping at the flea market and farmers market and local shops. Buy used. Research big purchases to see if made in the USA by Japanese/EU/Korea, because many "American" brands are mostly made in Mexico and China whereas foreign companies might at least do some parts and final assembly in the USA. Might even stay in Patel Motel Cartels over big chains. I always preferred real Restaurants vs. Chains anyway, because Jackie Mason. "Hey, there's my table!" Olive Garden DGAF, whereas Joe does.

I'm cancelling Amazon Prime. Using Ebay sellers who are real people, started doing it anyway a few months ago. Gonna start looking out for a good bookseller and open source kindle replacement.

Too bad I'm not in the US or I'd apply for Precinct Committeeman right now.

Cancel all big social media - twatter, facesucker, instacrap, etc. They are there to waste your time anyway. Cancel netsucks, amazon prime. Cancel most google/apple products, to the extent of your computer knowledge.
I never had twatter account, but in last month I stopped reading anything on twatter as well, and I am more productive! I miss Titania McGrath though.

@Rb6d I think it's kosher to read "her" at the mirror here: https://twitter.com/TitaniaMcGrath

Twitter gets no revenue from that, and probably can't even tell you read it.

That's actually very sad, and may be true.

Many people are alive because Trump started no wars.

Many people will die because the corpse and the whore are almost certain to start new wars.

I noticed that too, that he never mentioned Biden, Kamala, or anyone in the "new administration" by name. Might be just out of spite and disrespect...

I do like that he continues to call it the China virus. heh.

Jeff Bozo had an op-ed in his rag paper asking where should he donate his money. The reaction I saw throughout the internet was give his employees a raise. These people aren't "out of touch" - they are full of shit. This is their version of "virtue signalling".

These Uber rich billionaires, Bezos, Musk, Zuckerberg were mere mortal dweebs only a few decades ago.

The true oligarch was Trumps family.... has been rich for generations. When Bezos, Musks and Zuckerbergs kids are in charge.... then we can talk.

Musk, Bezos and Zuckerberg are basically nouveau riche! They are very powerful disrupters
of an always existing old oligarchy!

They have a “move fast and break things” philosophy and have made some incredible things that I enjoy daily. No point in making them some sort of cartoonish super villains.

It's rumored that Trump's money came from the Egyptians, you know those eye on top of the pyramid dudes, and their is direct evidence that his grandpappy hosted the creation of the federal reserve at Trump castle on Jekyll Island.

@BoomAndBustCycle
Can you admit that things are really fucked up right now, the system is rotten to the core, and Trump did not cause it during the last four years? Otherwise you have no credibility.

Trump is like that annoying new hire that starts a job at a company that’s been around for hundreds of years and complains about everything and says they can do it better and thinks they have a solution to everything. While all the existing employees roll their eyes.

Sometimes a smart person like Jobs or Musk can shake things up and do a good job. I just don’t think Trump had an ounce of the brain power or ability as either of those guys. I don’t think running the US like a business is totally wrong... but Trump was not a good CEO.

More like the fix it guy and all the people stuck in their ways and robbing the office supplies are pissed the fuck off.

"We're billions in debt, violence broke out all over our offices, our execs and board members are selling our trade secrets to our competitors, but we know what we're doing works and it's great. Who the fuck is this guy coming in just before I get promoted and can dip my hand in the till too? NOT INVENTED HERE!".

There's really no argument that the US is better off today than in 1990 when the Cold War was over, whether looking at debt, manufacturing capacity, etc.

So no? You can't admit it?

Credibility is an easy thing to lose and it is almost impossible to regain.
