Also seeing the same in my small town outside San Diego. Plan on eating indoor this weekend, hope you'll do the same wherever you live. Not to spread disease, but to build community, socialize, support people who are hurting financially, and love. Because without love, what's the point of staying alive?

I was in Anna Maria Island, FL the last week, just got back today. Every place seemed fully open. Wear a mask to the table and then you're good. You'd think with such a senior population they'd be more concerned.

Travel is dying big time. Now with the negative test being required for reentry from foreign countries, it's only going to get worse. Give them an inch they'll take a mile. Next it will be all domestic travel. Flight from Tampa to Chicago had 60 f'ing people on it. Not that I would sit there, but they stopped seating at I think row 22 for weight and center of gravity. I used points, but this RT ticket was $60 if you paid cash.

I know there are other airlines, but you cannot get more than 60-70 people from Chicago on this route down to Tampa in the dead of winter? 65-70 degrees and sunny the whole time. Heated pool. Did remote learning by the pool. I think people need to start fighting back a lot harder against this Covid bull shit. If someone gives you a hard time in public, just tell them to fuck off and die already. Be loud about it too. Cause a scene. This shit has to end. FL seemed normal except mask upon entering. Everyone is not dying there.

Stop wearing the mask to the table. If the staff tells you they cannot seat you, go to another place until you find one the "forgot" to ask you to put it on. I've been ordering takeout for forever. I go in to pick up my food without a mask on. If they ask me to put a mask on, I ask them if they want me to pay for my food. I have yet to have any staff tell me I couldn't pick up my food without a mask on. I'm in northern va.

MONEY IS THE ONLY LANGUAGE THEY UNDERSTAND.

I love this!

I'm more and more certain that the reported numbers of deaths are almost enitrely bullshit:

- the corrupt WHO tells all countries to count every death as from Wuhan Virus, unless it was trauma or something else too damn obvious
- hospital admins in the US comply to get their extra $30,000 if they classify the death "correctly"
- somehow absolutely no one died of the flu in 2020! gosh, maybe you think they might have been counted as Wuhan Virus?
- NOT ONE person i have actually met in real life has gotten sick from this

I also leave EVERYWHERE I MUST wear the mask without the mask on. What are they going to tell you to do...leave? Bwahaha, you're already leaving.

I thought about that, but then maybe they won't let you in again. Could be a problem for the grocery store.
7   FuckTheMainstreamMedia   2021 Jan 22, 1:14am

There are now orders in LA County that you have to quarantine for 10 days if you leave So Cal.

Never mind the fucking lack of any sense that makes since LA County is currently the worst place in the entire fucking country for Covid infections. As an aside the heads of the LA County health department need a kick in the nuts or a punch to the baby maker depending on their biologically assigned gender and any subsequent attempts to alter that gender beyond all reasonable science for requiring quarantine of people ENTERING a Covid hotspot.

Also never mind that wifey and I have driven to Las Vegas 3 times since the “pandemic” began in March for four days each time and have been fine except my wife has now caught Covid from a family friend (and is totally fine...she had a cold...not even flu symptoms...a cold.

Due to the quarantine requirement we will unfortunately be “cancelling” wink wink our three night trip over Presidents’ Day weekend. Really a shame we don’t get to use our 3 nights comped, free play, and $200 in comped meals. Sad that we have to let that go wink

10 days now for the entire country if you come back from a foreign country. And you need a negative test from that foreign country 72 hours before boarding the plane. I have zero clue how the federal government will even be able to track even 5% of travelers. There's also nothing to stop people from forging tests to say they were negative. And some resorts are even paying for the tests... yeah, I'm sure 0% of those test will come back positive, lol.

Pretty obvious at this point that people with deep pockets want this to go on longer and pick up the scraps for pennies on the dollar. You're safer going to warmer places, being outdoors and having more room to spread about.

I'm going to be scoping out travel big time now though before airlines simply just stop routes to places like the Caribbean. There should be some good deals on resorts, hotels and vacation rentals now through May. At which point I think Biden will declare Covid gone. He can't say he beat it in a month, so he's got to drag it out a bit.

I've yet to wear the mask in my neighborhood grocery store. The medical exemption can be used. I'm pretty sure a video was posted on Patrick.net showing how to fill out an affidavit and who to contact for starting a lawsuit if it came to that. 1st offense is a $75,000 fine. Second offense is $150,000.

I'm convinced that the way to beat this is to have everyone simply not wear the mask. At least start a movement where EVERYONE refuse the mask on a certain date...like the 4th of July if it lasts that long. Imagine the government forcing 300 million people to wear the mask on July 4th. Even better, everyone agree on maskless Mondays.

I never wear a mask. Actually, I did once - and that was to get into Costco - but I'm pretty sure we're cancelling our membership.

We'll be down there in late March, so that's good to know. Have flights to Pensacola and Panama City booked. Just looking for houses/condos/resorts and will cancel one of the flights once we find a place.

Love the Panhandle area. Been going since I was about 3-4 years old. Totaled up I've probably spent close to 2 years of my life vacationing in the area. My mom still has about 4 rentals down in the Navarre/Garcon Point area, they're just too far inland for my liking. I like being close to the beach, as in walking distance. I like beer on the beach and don't like drinking and driving.

Lets be clear here - the business is not the enemy. Depending on where you are, the business can face serious fines if an inspector finds the business is not enforcing a mask policy or some Karen rats them out. Furthermore, some dipshit could sue the business claiming they caught Covid at that location because of the unenforced mask policy. Making the business also face lawsuits from customers not wanting to wear the mask is unfair. Be sure to take your legal action against the state.

The store is responsible for what they do and the ADA is clear. Also, I believe all states have the medical exemption.

The ADA is clear alright, in that it is nearly impossible to qualify for a medical exemption for a face covering. Got a breathing problem, try a face shield. No ears, find another way to fasten it. You cannot just walk in and say "medical exemption," you must have proof from a doctor that you are a burn victim or otherwise exempted. Doctors are very reluctant to hand these exemptions out.

"The store is responsible for what they do" is just how the government sees it, so if people are caught in the store without a mask, the store gets cited. If anyone wants to play that "no mask because of medical exemption" trick, do it at the DMV or other government buildings.

I have been thinking about it. It is real easy to go and find a doctor-led pill mill who will prescribe you any and all crap you want if you pay. Consequently, we have enough dishonest doctors who will do anything for money. I have not yet found a Dr who, for a reasonably hefty fee, will certify that someone can not wear a mask. Either demand is not there, or Dr's face more serious consequences for this compared to prescribing pain pills.

Not sure anyone can in public. Your medical records are just that, yours. Obviously blood donation, organ donation, etc. basically some sort of medical procedure would require disclosure.

Having a broken bone (heel) and traveling, no one even blinked or asked a question for proof this past November when I went to MX. Everyone was throwing wheel chairs at me every step of the way without question. I had clearance to be out of the boot, but couldn't start PT because of the trip, so I stayed in it.

The problem comes in when managers and people you're dealing with don't understand medical conditions and combine that with Covid fear. They're going to side with the masses 9 out of 10 times regardless of law or medical condition when it comes to a mask. So even a legitimate reason to not wear a mask will get you denied. Whereas rolling up in a wheelchair they won't bat an eye about your condition or ask to see if you're actually crippled.

I admit the stores are being put in a shitty position. But, my employer just told me last Friday (employer is in MD and it was actually my immediate supervisor who told me) they can change our mask policy to no mask at any time. I am not sure this is correct though since I am not sure she knows what she is talking about. If she does know what she is talking about, then why wouldn't stores blah blah blah....this whole thing is criminal and I am only trying my damndest to find a solution where I can stand up for freedom. Why do so many people hate freedom?

The way I read the OP's title post is that we should celebrate Europe and Mexico saying fuck the mask, no?

Mexico currently is done with them for tourist. It was the most freedom I've felt since this Covid BS started, 2nd to FL. 1 in 80 people "maybe" wore a mask at the resort. Staff had half assed face shields on. It was relaxing not having to worry about it. They didn't care either.

If things ever get back to normal, I think most people are going to be like "WTF were we doing" initially with Covid. For some reason nurses and doctors can be exposed daily, but we can't go get a fucking meal or travel. I hope people are smart enough to realize the BS, but I'm not sure they are. Either way, need to fight the stupidity all the way.

Well, I just went the the local CVS (drug store here in Northern Va.). No mask in, out or during. I was met outside the store by an employee telling me she liked my hat as I walked in the door. I was met by 2 masked employees(?) who said hello to me as I walked by them. At least 4 employees walked around/past me as I was in the store. No one said a thing. I did use the self check-out though. Does that make me a pussy?

Not through the FAGAT companies, that's for sure.

Maybe we need a campaign where individuals call and write individual store managers and tell them this.

Hi TJ,
I am truly sick of the scientifically pointless demand to wear a mask while shopping.

The FIRST grocery store to let me shop unharassed without a mask on gets all of my business FOREVER. I will gladly pay more to support science, sanity, and freedom.

I am spreading this message to everyone I know.

Stop the bullshit, there are multiple studies indicating that there may be an efficacy and it cost close to nothing to implement. Going against wearing masks even if it provided only a small benefit is nothing but pure dickheadedness.

Plenty of studies that indicate there is no benefit. But the broader point is that it's people's own decision, and that of the operators of business or transit. Few would complain about wearing a mask in the subway or a store/restaurant at owners choice even if they don't like it since there are alternatives where they don't have to wear a mask. A mask really only helps with illnesses that are transmitted via droplets, not airborne ones. So then you should mandate a mask for every flu or cold since it could kill an older person. Or how about about fact that everyone who has had mono is able to transmit EBV, which can kill adults. The mask mandate is utter nonsense and unconstitutional. Let everyone incl. private businesses and the federal govt decide whether they require masks or not.
34   GNL   2021 Jan 26, 6:28pm

How can it even be a question of whether or not this whole mask bullshit is a totalitarian move? They're laughing at us. There is an agenda to this. Open your damn mind. Own yourself for God's sake.
