Pawpaw, quail and goat test positive for coronavirus

Pawpaw, a quail and a goat and engine oil have all tested positive for coronavirus in Tanzania.

President John Magufuli got to know this after he secretly ordered the tests.

The results have made him doubt the integrity of the coronavirus testing in his country.

And he is furious. He suspended the head of its national health laboratory in charge of coronavirus testing.

He also questioned official data on the pandemic.

The president called for an investigation in what he suspected is a “dirty game” in the laboratory, but did not say where the kits had been imported from.

“The equipment or people may be compromised and sometimes it can be sabotage,” Magufuli said in a speech broadcast live through state-run Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC).

Catherine Sungura, acting head of communications at the ministry of health, said the director of the laboratory and its quality assurance manager had been immediately suspended “to pave way for the investigation”.

Sungura said a 10-person committee had been formed to investigate the laboratory’s operations, including its process of collecting and testing samples.

Magufuli has also fired the head of the government Medical Stores Department, which is in charge of distributing medical supplies and equipment to government hospitals, but gave no reason.

The opposition has accused the government of hiding information and failing to take the disease seriously.

Schools and universities have been shut but markets, bus stops and shops bustle as usual, with Magufuli urging citizens to continue working hard and not stop going to church or mosques.

If we get cheap home tests, it will be fun to replicate this ourselves.

Maybe that's why there are no cheap home tests.

Bingo. Having traveled and needing tests, it was a pain in the ass because I needed to go to places my insurance covered. I would have happily done the same self administered test in my own home and mailed it in, but it was $120+ per person.

Covid is bad, home tests are expensive and don't return results in the time to "stop the spread" or in 72 hours for travel (US territories). But we can just mail in ballots with no inexpensive ID required. What a wonderful country.

I heard this idea that you can get positive results from random objects in this video:

@Patrick,
There was an Austrian politician who did covid test on coke in their parliament. It was also positive...but news did not report it outside Austria other than trying to "debunk" this. His name is Schnedlitz

Here is a mention of it:

https://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/292952

Austrian FPÖ Member of Parliament Michael Schnedlitz administered a COVID-19 PCR test to the beverage Coca Cola in the plenum before his colleagues. The popular drink tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus.

He said he was performing the test live before parliament: "so you can see how worthless and misguided these mass tests are."

He continued: "The evidence is overwhelming, starting with the absolutely absurd mass tests that are currently being carried out, which are nothing more than a large-scale redistribution of tens of millions of euros in tax money from the population...it can't go on like this."

We know it's a fraud. They know it's a fraud. They know we know it's a fraud.

But they still have significant portion of the population running around like they BELIEVE! A few of these people are genuinely terrified that they will catch the Wuhan and die or kill their elderly relatives and friends They pull their mask up when they see you coming outside. They think its ok to put their arms around their buddies and take selfies as long as they all have their masks on. They are eager to get the experimental biologic agent so that things can return to normal. They are furious at the people that won't wear masks or take the shot because those people are extending the pandemic.

And the worse? many of them know it's a fraud. They just go along to get along.

The problem with this shit is that you pretty much need a negative test for international travel. Meaning if this shit gets you a false positive you're screwed out of your vacation.
