I have lot of family farmers in "dry fruit" industry in US.I don't really know other agricultural crops.
The prices for "Raisin" and "Almonds" are hurting last few years. Most of these crops are from California.

Land rates haven't changed and it is reaching almost 50k a acre in many cases with good water rights.
Farmers will be devastated without subsidies and other governmental help.

It is unfortunate that some "So called educated Idiots of Hindooo breed" are trying to tell that "small Indian farmers with meager land holding" can survive better the corporate onslaught than US farmers with much more resources.
Khalsa/Sikhs are fighting the battle for farmers in India and corporates and their lackeys are tryinmg to tag them as "terrorists" and trying to create atmosphere of rape/riot.(Very typical of Hindooo).

Please provide more info if you have contacts with farmers from other crops, dairy and meat.
How is it working with them?
Our goal as a nation is to "fuck the big Ag" and create small farmers to grow organic natural food.
The genetic modified tasteless fruits and vegetables are going to kill the humanity in the end by causing cancer and other diseases.

Shout out if you support "small farmers".

@patrick
Is it possible to create a database of small vendors for food/other essential items we can buy and support locals?
It should be just a separate tab in your website with following searchable fields:
>name
>city
>items (multiple)
Also comment section:
>User must explain why we should buy from this business and how the earned money will be retained in community.
>Other users can add comment.

Fuck crony capitalism and communism promoting globalization/outsourcing to rip off local communities for elite.
Need to return to policies for people,by people and of people.
Free market with honest government providing tight regulation against accumulation of wealth and power in hands of few.

I don't care what "ism" breaks monopolies, But I am against "monopoly" and any ism which retain freedom for us all and break the monopolies has my support.

@election2020 Do you mean locally produced food?

It would not be hard to set up. Usually the hard part is keeping out spam. Some human would have to moderate all the entries. But it could be a cooperative effort.

Do you have some example items that should be included?

@Patrick,
I don't have full idea yet. But I do feel that "factory produced" food is cause of obesity and other diseases.
Whenever someone visits me from Bharat, They describe American produce as "tasteless", I find fruits in Korea,Taiwan and India more tasty during my visit.
I also have seen increased lactose and gluon intolerance.
I see that factory produced food also loses the contours of natural occurring fruits and vegetables and made to grow too fast uniformly to achieve desired weight for maximum profit(Nutrient ration goes down).

I think US is directing too much energy/money to Pharma and post disease cure than to fix its real cause..which is bad food.
e.g I have found produce to be good at this farm few times I visited.

You're not wrong. America is the land of greed.

'They're Trying to Wipe Us Off the Map.' Small American Farmers Are Nearing Extinction

The US farmers and public failed to respond to consolidation of mom-pop farmers and retail into big corporations.
US population will pay with poor health(bad food) and economy.

I hope Indian farmers defeat the corporate control to wipe out small farmers.
US should learn from them and launch offensive against greed.

Why Bill Gates Is the Biggest Owner of Farmland

I am reminding a chilling reality for our kids.
Everybody who can spare some money should own few acres of farm land as it is limited.
At least they can learn to grow and feed themselves.
