"All I wanted was a drink and a smoke a laugh and a joke, and then I wound up on the floor." Alice Cooper.

Toss in some regular promiscuous pig sex, narcotics and anabolics for Tiger. All that money, luxury, success and fame, and dude just wants another hit.

They used a reciprocating saw to cut out the windshield. Less complicated than taking a new CD out of some of the security jewel cases they came out with back in the day.

I think it was Crenshaw, the "other" road down from the top of RPV. 30 years ago a trash truck lost its brakes and went over the center divider, hitting a Cadillac head on leaving the ragged A/C compressor the highest thing sticking up from the wreckage and killing the driver instantly. The woman's daughter was following in another vehicle. She ended up down the hill at a foot doctor's office, desperately pleading with them to come save her Mother.

Saved by the "Reciprocating Saw of Life".

I think it’s possible that he was driving an suv far above its safe handling speed on curves.

He seems to do everything a bit to excess.

He felt no pain...he asked the 1st responder to take him to him to the nearest club (not as in 'golf')....oh...and take my borrowed Hyundai SUV back to the rental office....it has serious braking problems.

Why is this guy driving himself anywhere? Is he too cheap to get a driver? I don't get it...

"Felt no pain" as in "narc'd to the gills" and nodding off behind the wheel.

What was left of my car after a drunk driver hit me head-on. I spent 4+ months in the hospital.

Lucky to live through that.

Tiger is a Buddhist and I think he fits in this category:

He lives different lifestyle than most. Tons of money, every rich person invites him for golf. Women throw themselves at him.
I don't mean ugly women, these are hot women who give him their no to bang.

These over achivers drink n do drugs since everything else is taken for granted. Michael Jackson, prince, so many celebrities die of drugs n booze related accidents.

Got to Phoenix to do some golfing. My buddy and I were saying the same thing. Just pay someone $150-200k to be on call, on demand or some service. It’s really unthinkable for him to be popping pills or drinking and driving. Dangerous too. This most certainly was the case.

Either way, pro golf is done for the guy. With his back issues, those legs are just going to further the back problems. He’s addicted to opioids at this point. This will only further compound that. Great run, he’ll never be in contention again though. He needs to just get right or he’ll kill someone else or himself.

As they say money doesn’t buy happiness. Dude is lost.

That's the thing about San Antonio. Lots and lots of drunks on the road at night. Maybe I'm making an assumption and that didn't happen in TX?
15   Ceffer   2021 Feb 24, 10:18am

Now, if he had a chauffeured helicopter on call like Kobe, he would be OK.

He had back surgery recently, and probably was told it was OK to take narcotics and got the monkey on his back again. Iatrogenic relapse is common in addicts who like the excuse to use again unmonitored.

He looks like he started doing anabolics at some point, too, which can also cause problems with muscle insertions. Looks like a vicious cycle of pain related issues and addiction. He'll be lucky if he lives much longer. Unfortunately, money doesn't help that shit, usually just makes it worse.

LA County Sheriff reporting no evidence of impairment pending tox tests. Also claims no evidence of reckless driving. Mmmkay.

A County Supervisor is making noises about "fixing this treacherous road" where XX accidents have occurred in the last year "so this can't happen again.". Hawthorne Boulevard is NOT a technical drive mountain road. It is a meandering 4 lane highway with a landscaped raised center divider where the crash occurred. Residents interviewed acknowledged many accidents but said they're not receptive to changes attempting to "make it safer."

This is a clear case of "Failure to maintain control of vehicle/remain in lane", not an inherent hazard with that particular road. Recently a customer brought me a vehicle that failed the smog check where the technician highlighted the RPM during the test and hand wrote "too high." Duh, YOU were the one pressing the gas pedal during the test, fuckwit!

He'll be right as rain after rehab. I don't know why, but people love cheering on the hastening downfall, of high profile people when they are down.
I admit, I get a little enjoyment when assholes and jerks take a hit. But winners always bounce back, and I do like routing for winners to rebound.
So I'll have that to give me hope, when I'm ever down.
21   Ceffer   2021 Feb 24, 3:25pm

He has compound fractures, plus whatever other spinal, neck or orthopedic problems from the accident. He won't be reasonably healed for at least a year, if ever, and will likely have even worse chronic pain issues leading him back to using. I feel sorry for him, he will be in hell, fame and fortune notwithstanding.

American Airlines flight 2292 was traveling from Cincinnati to Phoenix when pilot spotted 'long cylindrical object'.......could it have been Tiger?
23   NoYes   2021 Feb 25, 6:50pm

Why don't we replace all the statues the left wants to take down...and replace them with a replica of Tiger?
24   Patrick   2021 Feb 25, 7:16pm

Can't do that, Tiger is part white.
25   Ceffer   2021 Feb 25, 7:19pm

I thought Tiger was part Chinese or Asian. The race of the first part forbids the race of the second part from being symbolized in any heroic art or artifact.

That's straight from SCOTUS, who have been reduced with MK Ultra Pharmacologic Warfare to drooling, making origami, and denying any form of legal reality that might make them appear competent.
