The only thing that can stop Gavin Newsom’s recall is if the system is rigged. Which it is.

In a normal year and a normal state, efforts to recall a governor that yields 2 million signatures when less than 1.5 million valid ones are necessary would be considered successful. But this is 2021 and the state in question is California which means it’s hit or miss. The efforts to recall Governor Gavin Newsom may or may not be successful despite the team meeting their goals.

Before we get into it, let me get the takeaway on the table. If you are a registered voter in California who recognizes the dereliction of leadership from Governor Newsom, you MUST find a place to sign the petition and make it happen immediately. Reach out to RecallGavin2020.com for details.

The Governor, Democrats, and their teams are going to do everything they can to invalidate signed petitions. This could end up being the most hypocritical, rigged political action of the year because we experienced a 2020 presidential election in which Democrats dismissed any semblance of signature verification across the board. Suddenly, they’re big fans of the notion of accuracy and they’re willing to take extreme measures to prevent their “icon” from being taken down over something petty like horrendous governance.

The group behind this is doing everything they can. According to The Post Millennial:
The organizers of the recall effort against California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom announced Sunday that they have collected enough signatures to put the special election on the ballot.

At a press conference in Sacramento, organizers claimed they have gathered 1,927,000 signatures in support of the recall, more than a week ahead of the March 17 deadline. Recall organizers said they still plan to try to reach 2 million before that date.

Organizer Orrin Heatlie said in a statement, “We have cleared another milestone, and now we are entering the final stretch of this part of the official campaign to remove California Governor Gavin Newsom from power and office.”

Elections officials still need to verify that 1,497,709 of the signatures are valid and come from registered California voters before the special election can be scheduled.

“This is now a national and worldwide story. The media is dialed into our campaign and we will continue to tell the real story behind this movement,” said Randy Economy, Senior Advisor of RecallGavin2020.

In 2003, a similar scenario found an unpopular Democratic Governor Gray Davis facing recall. Out of the 1.6 million signatures collected, around a quarter million were invalid. By those standards, the efforts to recall Newsom should be on solid ground to achieve their goals. But unlike 2003, the 2021 version is already rife with attacks from the left in an effort to subvert the will of the people.

The bottom line: Don’t get complacent. We need to get as many signatures in the final days of the drive as possible.

If signature verification, which California Democrats suddenly embrace, is used to prevent Gavin Newsom from being recalled, then the Republic is truly broken. Should we prepare for a statewide revolt?

30 percent of recall petition signers are Democrat. Do they finally feel the pain of their idiocy? Only directly paid off apparatchiks are left approving of this political abortion.

Yes, correction, 'Other Than Republicans' from analyzed segments of petitions, cited at 17 minutes in to video. What percentage of other than Republicans are Dems can be assumed by the beholder.

They said they compared names and data on petitions to party registration records. I don't recall the form I signed having any spots for party affiliation.

With 1.95 million signatures in hand, the Recall campaign has announced an election to remove Gavin Newsom from office is now assured. Still, we’re aiming for 2 million by the March 17 deadline.

My friend Randy Economy, the Recall’s official spokesman, said it well: “One thing we want to let everybody know here, especially to the politicians across the street and the lobbyists that have destroyed California’s dream for decades and generations is that your game’s over. From now on, the people are in charge of California.”

For years, our state has been on a seemingly irreversible decline. This last year, Gavin Newsom brought that decline to a total freefall. ...

But the people of California refused to remain trapped in the rubble. Disenfranchised and dispossessed, we fought back. We availed ourselves of a last remaining recourse, a tool that is simple yet powerful, an act that is rote yet revolutionary: writing your name in cursive on a piece of paper.

Thanks to the heroic efforts of countless volunteers – outside of Walmarts and Hobby Lobbys, at places of business and places of worship, through organized rallies and spontaneous encounters – those pieces of paper piled up on a breathtaking scale, turning a sea of discontent into a watershed for our democracy.

Signature by signature, you have built the greatest citizens’ movement California history. You have given us a chance to save our state. You have given us hope.

Hell, I may print out the thing, sign it myself and mail that in, just to have one more signature on it.

In various states, the mail-in ballots for the presidential vote had a 0.01% rejection rate. What do you want to bet that in this mail-in recall campaign against Newsom the rejection rate will be north of 35%?

Yesterday, Governor Newsom delivered his State of the State Address. It was a sad spectacle. CalMatters called it “the kickoff to his don’t-recall-me campaign.”

The State of the State usually takes place at the Capitol, much like the President’s State of the Union. But Newsom broke with tradition and opted for Dodger Stadium. It was a fitting image for his one-man rule, standing alone in an empty sports arena rather than among legislators whose power he’s lawlessly seized.

Legislators were, however, asked to log in via Zoom. We were then instructed to keep our cameras on so the Governor’s team could project hokey images of us applauding from behind our computers. I kept mine off.

Usually, the State of the State is a special occasion. That’s because usually, the Governor of California isn’t a noxious daily presence in our lives. But after a year of monologues inflicted on us by livestream, this address was just one more for the archives. (For a vivid contrast, check out the energy at the Recall Rally at the Capitol I was part of this weekend.)

It took the Associated Press about an hour to throw together a fact check debunking much of what Newsom said. As one example, he perversely bragged that California’s “death rate has remained one of the lowest per capita in the nation.”

In fact, we are middle of the pack despite having the nation’s most severe lockdowns. Seniors in Florida, where everything is open, have done better than in California. Case rates for Florida kids, 99.9 percent of whom are back in school, are lower than in California where 12.8 percent of kids are (last in the nation).

Newsom also used the speech to lash out at the Recall as a “partisan power grab.” He of course knows it’s just the opposite, bringing together people of all party affiliations and all walks of life. That’s why he’s panicking.

Finally, Newsom ominously declared that “we’re not going back to normal.” In a way, he’s right. We’re no longer going to allow our state to be ruined by the corruption that he’s brought to peak levels.

Apparently, along with Cuomo and Whitmer, he is on the list of useful governor idiots to be purged. Coud'na happened to a nicer douche, but I would imagine they just want more extreme useful idiots in the future.
8   Shaman   2021 Mar 10, 8:09pm

When Newscum was elected, I predicted that his reign of terror would be unpleasant. I wasn’t even in the ballpark of how godawful it actually has been! The unholy trio of Whitmer and Cuomo and Newscum are America’s worst governors! Like perhaps ever! Newscum is a fucktard.

Haha, he'll never do a press conference, unless he's allowed to do it in 3-10 takes.

It's just going to be him reading off from a teleprompter, and if he flubs it, doing take #2 and #3.

You're probably thinking "when are people going to realize there's something wrong with Biden???" - only morons don't recognize the man is totally senile. You might be asking "when will Americans DO something about this"? Never. George W. Bush lied us into a war in Iraq, Obama lied us into Syria and Libya, our press is propaganda, our intelligence agencies are corrupt, and our DOJ is politically weaponized.

The US isn't the land of the free and the brave.

The current generation in power sold you, your children, and your grandchildren into slavery. It's been obvious they've been doing this for at least 20 years to me.

Your phone calls are listened to, what you write here is probably archived somewhere, your searches are all archived, every web page you visit is recorded - some people are goddamned dumb enough to have Alexa and OK Google (?) in their homes, which listen to them, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. You think we might be in a fucking authoritarian dystopia? Well, obviously.
11   Tenpoundbass   2021 Mar 11, 7:27am

Yeah but people know it's rigged now.

I can't wait for the next least popular candidate win an election, when the electorate was trying to send a rebuke and a mandate.

These Criminal Politicians think they are protected from their house being burned out while they sleep.
The next Civil war will be an anonymous reign of terror against the grifter class.

"Bring me my speed and vitamin B injections, along with a triple martini! I need a head of steam for this campaign. Also, break out that private reserve of Adrenochrome that Obama sent me! Haha, we can have 30 million signatures for this asshole to be recalled, and he won't be.

I keep trying to tell people, we're beyond the precipice. This is no longer a democratic republic.

Newsom did his job, he will be retained. I signed the petition, but as a protest. EVENTUALLY people will recognize the reality.

We lost out democratic republic 20 years ago, when a fucking asshole lied us into Iraq and allowed a false flag like 9/11 to take place. Most people reading this will think my second claim is ridiculous - wait another 10 years. It was our Reichstag fire. Dumb liberal twats will never see it, but the US has been fascist Nazis for 2 decades. Neocons are fascists. They've been running, ruining, the nation for at LEAST 2 decades, probably 3.

Gavin Nauseum is just a puppet. He's not going to be removed.

Kind of funny lately. Even Forbes.com calls everything racist lately. Democrats started this campaign back in early 2000s, looks like it worked unfortunately. Even added cancel culture to cancel people for wrongthink.

They sit on their money, like cheap skates, and complain about Democrats winning through spending.
But many Republicans are perfectly fine with this, uniparty, I kind of gave up... America has become trashy lately.

Sometimes, the dots connect themselves. Let’s start with today’s bombshell report that Gavin Newsom wildly misled the public about his fire prevention efforts:

"An investigation from CapRadio and NPR’s California Newsroom found the governor has misrepresented his accomplishments and even disinvested in wildfire prevention. Newsom overstated, by an astounding 690%, the number of acres treated with fuel breaks and prescribed burns."

It’s hard to say whether the deception or the dereliction is worse. But there’s more.

At the moment, Newsom is trying to pass a new law to let him control when the Recall happens. After months of delay, he suddenly wants the vote sooner. His main supporter in the Senate explained why, writing that “fires” in the late summer or early fall are among Newsom’s “biggest threats."

Returning to the NPR report, it's clear why he's so worried:

"Overall, California’s [wildfire] response has faltered under Newsom…fuel reduction output dropped by half in 2020, to levels below Gov. Jerry Brown’s final year in office. At the same time, Newsom slashed roughly $150 million from Cal Fire’s wildfire prevention budget."

It appears Newsom is well aware he hasn’t prepared the state for fire season, so he's trying to (1) deceive the public and (2) force a Recall vote before his deception is catastrophically exposed.

Our movement has a simple slogan: Recall Newsom. Save California.

The petition to recall California Gov. Gavin Newsom cleared its final hurdle on June 23, with confirmation from the state’s top election official that enough signatures remained after voters had been given a chance to withdraw support for the petition.

California Secretary of State Shirley Weber said 43 signatures have been withdrawn during a supplemental signature withdrawal period, leaving 1,719,900 verified signatures, which still meets the threshold to initiate a recall election.

Weber notified California Department of Finance Director Keely Martin Bosler, who is tasked with handling the next step in the recall process. The Department of Finance will analyze the potential cost of the election and submit its estimate by Aug. 5.

The Joint Legislative Budget Committee will have 30 days to review and comment on the petition, after which Weber would be responsible for issuing the final certification as to the sufficiency of the number of votes to initiate a recall.

Newsom has faced intense criticism for flouting his own pandemic lockdown rules by dining maskless at a Michelin-starred restaurant. California has some of the highest taxes in the nation and a homelessness problem that is spiraling out of control, among other issues, and since 2000, the state has ranked near the bottom in terms of overall freedom on the Cato Institute’s “Freedom in the 50 States” index.

On June 23, an investigative report by CapRadio showed that Newsom had misled the public about his wildfire prevention efforts. The report concluded that Newsom overstated by 690 percent the number of acres treated with firebreaks and prescribed burns. Newsom said fire prevention work was conducted on 90,000 acres, but the state’s own figures peg the number at 11,399, according to the report.

The election could be held as early as August or as late as November this year.
