Back in January, when some military veterans were found participating in the Capitol storming, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin had ordered a “stand-down” across the force for discussing “extremism” in the US military.

Now, the Pentagon released a memo which outlines actions to be taken to counter this extremism in the military and also announces the establishment of the “Countering Extremism Working Group (CEWG)” that will monitor the social media activity of service members.

It is worth noting that the US Department of Defense hasn’t formally defined what “extremism” is.

In this context, "extremism" is nothing other than loyalty to the US Constitution, putting the United States above the interests of the swamp and tech tyrants.

I think a lot of the military is aware of how they are being diverted from their mission to defend the Constitution.

Blatantly displaying that their intentions are treasonous to the only lawful form of Federal government is grounds for termination. They are actually saying that they don’t believe they should exist in the manner that is the only allowable way for them to exist. These imbeciles need to be replaced.

I would pay extra taxes to see states setting up their own standing militias, trained and armed, independent entirely from the Federal Government. I also think all Federal taxes from each state should be placed in escrow, only to be released by the states to the extent that the Federal Government is doing its job and not acting as a corrupt malignant tumor on the Republic or the people.

-You have the right to remain silent
-Anything you say can and will be used against you....

Anybody that is busy creating a political profile of themselves on social media should go ahead and stop right now.

Terrible idea. Think about a state like California or New York, and their leftist totalitarian governor having the power of an army to enforce his fucked up will. Hell no!

Except now, the stolen election theorists believe that California was the testing ground for election fraud from top to bottom before they unleashed the fraud on the nation. They say California actually voted for Trump in 2020, so it needs to be unwound to the extent it is actually NOT Democrat.

State militias would almost certainly be conservative, and would less likely be under the domination of neocons and foreign entities, to be directed to foreign wars. Being from the people, it is less risky they would turn on the people as the Federal government has.

Citizenship essentially comes from the states and not the Federal government. They seem to be waking up more to this fact now that the Federal Government has been captured and gone rogue. The states are seeing they are a necessary line of defense against attempted Federal tyranny.

Service members loyal to the US Constitution? We can't allow THAT!

BTW, all naturalized citizens explicitly pledged allegience to the Constitution. Put them all on the suspect list too!

Saw a good video by a criminal lawyer who points out that the best thing is always not to talk to the police at all beyond "Do you have a warrant?" and "Am I under arrest?"

Anything you say can be used against you, but nothing you say to a cop can ever be used for you, even if the cop wants to help you. It will be dismissed in court as "hearsay" every time.

So the only safe thing is to be polite but not to talk to police.

The pentagon might be surveilling Americans without a warrant, a letter by a senator to the Department of Defense revealed. The letter was sent after reports indicated that special forces units were purchasing location data.

Last November, Motherboard published a report about special forces units purchasing location data. In response, Sen. Ron Wyden wrote a letter to the Department of Defense (DoD), which includes several military and intelligence agencies such as the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and National Security Agency (NSA), requesting detailed information on the department’s data purchasing practices.

We obtained a copy of the letter for you here.

The DoD’s response mentioned the use of internet browsing and other types of data, which prompted Wyden to demand more answers, especially on whether the department was spying on Americans without a warrant.

Some of the answers the DoD provided were classified, meaning the senator’s office cannot publish them without the risk of legal consequences. The senator wrote to the DoD again, urging it to release public information about its data purchasing practices.

“I write to urge you to release to the public information about the Department of Defense’s (DoD) warrantless surveillance of Americans,” Wyden wrote in a letter addressed to the Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Aystin III.

The letter added: “Information should only be classified if its unauthorized disclosure would cause damage to national security. The information provided by DoD in response to my questions does not meet that bar.”
