Newsweek, The New York Post, and the Associated Press were the only mainstream outlets that had picked up the story of racial animus as of the time of this writing.

What if the races and motivation were REVERSED? How much time would the media devote to this story if it was a white guy driving around targeting black people?

I think you know the answer to that.

What does it matter? There's a mass shooting almost weekly and even daily in Chicago. Media gives zero shits. My local affiliates give it 10 seconds. "Man shoots two people driving on highway, killing both passengers and resulting in a wreck that killed two other people... on to the weather."

Like, seriously? It's just played off as normal here in Chicagoland. Black people are a protected class at this point, at least by the media. Let's call a spade a spade, they're ~13% of the population and likely contribute less than 3% to GDP. That's not racist, it's likely fact.

Instead of babying them, how about we start holding them accountable for their actions. We're worried about Covid, yet ER's are dealing with 10 gun shot victims daily in Chicago. Most black. We have all the data, but mah, slavery. Get the fuck over it. There's not a living person that knew a slave in America. It's over. Donezo. Move on.
