I actually like this. But at the same time the Olympics are a corrupt as fuck organization. Organizers get BJ's, cash, blow, sex, etc. to get the Olympics in a certain nation. And it usually pushes the host nation into massive debt. I'm sure the Rio Olympics paid off.... not. They never do.

I got to pondering about the Olympics as a waste of money. Ever notice they never, EVER, have marketable mascots? I mean, who the fuck thought this was a good idea?

I'm just pointing out a bunch of money could be made off from a licensed toyline - that could at least offset the cost of hosting the games, which is just a sinkhole for money. They could even make a particular Olympic themed video game based on the mascotts, if they bothered to make decent mascotts. That's a billion dollar industry right there, and if you had worldwide appeal, it would be world wide.

It really does seem like they are attempting to lose as much money as possible.

I think most mascots now need to be some totally senseless warped fantasy characters that one may conjure up in an acid trip only because they have to be as far removed from any resemblance to a living person on earth which would offend somebody on behalf of some minority group. Freak cartoon or anime characters work well for this use case.

This "thank you for your service" - what service are people talking about? They don't protect this nation, they don't care about enforcing the Constitution, they even allow our president to sell access to his office. What service do they do?

It's like the police's "to protect and serve" - well, serve whom? Not the public. Antifa and BLM are burning down city blocks, they do nothing. All they seem to do is give out tickets, that's easy to do.

The United States has not been invaded by a foreign military force and at present no country or group of countries would be successful in trying that.
