Mezzanines in stations was an interesting point. I noticed how European stations tend to feel more claustrophobic than say BART. That openness comes at a high cost.

Right, I think the problem is ultimately that we cannot trust our government to do the right thing with the people's money.

And this is a result, imho, of our greatest weakness, diversity.

Diversity in countries is not a strength, it is a weakness. It is praised only by those who seek to divide us with diversity so that they can more easily rule us. Divide and conquer.

California is especially diverse, and especially corrupt. No one cares because it really isn't anyone's state at all. We're just here in California for the money. Not out of loyalty or any sense of shared history or shared origins or a shared future.

There is a cure, no matter where we all came from, and our grandparents knew it very well: the melting pot. When we constantly stress our shared identity as Americans, we have a greater sense of unity and can get things done, and can evict corrupt politicians from office because we all feel the harm they are doing to us, our families, and our futures.

Liberals have destroyed all of that with their evil stress on diversity to divide us. Anyone who praises diversity should be shunned.

Instead, we should always be praising unity as Americans and never talking about race or religion at all.

Edited to say I misread the question, I thought it read why are Construction costs so high.

Subway costs are so high, because of the construction process, the machine that bores the hole, also needs to facilitate installing the steel and concrete as it moves along.

Policy! The commies don't want anyone that is not an elite buying a house. The only houses ending up in non rich hands will be habitat for humanity homes for a certain you know who clientele.

The rest will be owned by the investor class, and rent will be based on your Social credit score.

Subways should not be neceasary at all. There is no good reason to pile every fucking company into the downtown of some big city. Maybe there was 50-100 years ago but not anymore.

Especially in Florida after mid May you don't want to be doing much outdoors other than running like hell from your car, to the comfort of the air-conditioning at the destination where you arrived. I'll walk by outside dinners, while I'm sweating like a pig, and think they are retarded.
