Mostly right Patrick. Some weird lizards (and frogs) can reproduce parthenogenetically, meaning no male is needed to reproduce offspring. Also, some can actually change sex as needed for harsh environmental conditions. But not humans.

Then there are the outliers: Mutated offspring with multiple sex chromosomes added to the mix, and hermaphrodites, for example. Outliers shouldn't be held up by Hollywood and the MSM as "normal" - they are, by definition, NOT normal. I don't believe we should enact overarching laws to encompass EVERY outlier. Exceptions shouldn't get special treatment at the expense of the 99.9%.

See you are conflating 2 issues that causes the problem. Like you said we should use 'sex' instead of gender but again it brings confusion. Like you said XXY and XYY person are still persons. even if they are 0.001 peercent of population they are still people. Now teaching sodomy to children is wrong. Fight against it. Not the definitions.

Of course XXY and XYY people are still people, however rare they are.

But they are not a new sex. They are each a defective form of the two sexes, or maybe both combined.

Prior to that, by the very odd Dr. Money to differentiate between sex and attitude in the 1950s (or maybe it was Masters and Johnson?). However, in the 70s, when the various Equal Rights legislation was passed, Gender still had the synonym meaning of "Sex" as in Male or Female.

That's why Originalism has to be officially declared by the legislature to be the sole mechanism of jurisprudence in the USA. What did the people writing the law intend?
