I'm old enough to remember the first Boy Scouts controversy where the LBGQT progressives were pushing to allow gay scout masters - this was back in the late 80's/ early 90's.
I was still young without wife or kids and my image of gays was the happy go lucky version on MTV, so I was like "yeah the scouts should allow gays".
Sitting around the lunch table one of the software guys who was only 6 or 7 years older than me, but had kids, looked at me and said "let's say you have a daughter in a few years, ... are you going to let her go into the woods with a strange man?". Dead stop. End of debate.
It was just the kind of thought experiment that resonated with me and I instantly understood why gays in Scouts was bad, even though I had yet to realize that for the most part non-normal sexual preference is a red flag for mental disease.

Trans is pretty rare, less than 1% of pop. Pedos are pretty rare, less than 1% of pop.
If they had "Nothing to do with each other", the percentage of people being both Trans and Pedo would be a tiny fraction of society.
If so, why are there so many stories about Trans committing sex crimes on kids?
