He was suspended after saying at a school board meeting in late May that he would never “affirm that a biological boy can be a girl, and vice versa," citing his Christian faith.

Not sure what "Christian faith" has to do with it. A castrated and mutilated male is no more a female that a cat with sewn on floppy ears is a rabbit. Maybe framing the issue a religious freedom was the way to get a favorable ruling.

Hell, he should sue for having his Constitutional rights brazenly violated.

Public schools are government, and have no right to dictate speech of teachers outside of work at all.

Cross, a physical education teacher, has brought an ongoing lawsuit against the school district in response to being barred from the school grounds and placed on paid leave, per the Post.

Luckily he was on paid leave.
