Given the Rhodes revelations, and seeing that Torba is blackguarding (rather than razzing) his competitors, makes me think Gab is a Honeypot.

Nothing other than his recent Posts, but I'm getting a bad vibe.

Another factor that bothers me is how Torba misrepresents a customized version of Mastodon as his very own creation.

I wouldn't bet the farm on Torba being a goon, but it's a vibe.

The "Tell" will be his reaction when Trump launches his Social Media site.

Could be. But at least it is an alternative place to post non-PC opinions for the moment.

I just wouldn't give them any personally identifiable information, like a real phone number.
